you can use exchange sites like localbitcoin or just transfer your usd into okpay account and then exchange them from btc-e.com or something like that you can also check exchanges at cryptomarketcap site they contain all the detailed information about every cryptocurrency
Yes it is possible. At times you can even buy a wallet from your friend. My friend has sold his wallet to a user in this forum. BTC can be exchanged either from your own account or from any other's accounts. Only things is, you need a person trustworthy whom you can trust on. Better learn how to create an account for yourself and how to keep it secured.

You mean about scammers right. To protect yourself in trading You just need to use the escrow to manage your money or you can go with trusted like Kraken or coinbase to have trustful in trading.

I thought everybody buys their first bitcoin from LocalBitcoins?

If want to use your credit/debit cards or bank account, you're better off using either Circle or Coinbase, for any other payment methods, including PayPal, Skill etc  LocalBitcoins is the place to go. LocalBitcoins is probably safe enough but personally I wouldn't want to have my card details on there. Buying BTC on Circle with a card only takes a few seconds, on LB you would have to first find a reputable seller which might mean you have to wait for one to come online.

Hi, Help, I am new and trying to learn. I set up a wallet with Electrum. How do I fund it? I would like to use a debit card. (USD).

You can go to localbitcoins.com and buy the btc there with your credit card, idk if  there are any sites, maybe coinbase, where you can buy with credit card, never looked into it tho. But my suggestion would be to go on localbitcoins and find a buyer and buy the btc with cash, eye to eye.

You could buy bitcoin on coinbase, circle, localbitcoins, etc. Then send bitcoins to any wallet that you want to. I've used coinbase to do this with no problem although some other people have said that they have had problems with coinbase.

Coinbase support just really few number of countries, and not available worldwide. I think the best platform to buy and sell Bitcoins right now is Localbitcoins.

Localbitcoins is famous and trusted, but there is a lot of local and international exchangers which allow people to buy and sell their bitcoins without any issue.

I thought everybody buys their first bitcoin from LocalBitcoins?

Not only in localbitcoins, you purchase the bitcoin with any online exchanges which is available with your country's fiat currency exchange. Else you buy the bitcoins with the local trader who is near from your location.

Can be dude. But not required or compulsary to buy bitcoins from Localbitcoins when one joins at first. Localbitcoins is a place where trading occurs. Bitcoins can be bought or sold. This is uses as a wallet as well. This is my wallet as well. Bitcoins are always kept in this wallet. The earnings from signature campaign falls in this wallet if you give your bitcoin wallet address.

Last 4 to 5 replies are done without reading the thread, you guys see he understood about wallet and exchanges, now he wants better exchange to buy small amount of bitcoin using debit card

First option would be coinbase (if you are not using for trading, gambling etc...). Coinbase monitors users who buy from them and ban them if they found these things.

If you intend to trade or gamble, just use localbitcoins. Never trade with anyone there outside LBC, Many scammers will trick you to deal outside to avoid escrow fees, at the end you might get scammed. so buy with LBC escrow only.

You will have to buy bitcoin from a exchange with your debit card and then transfer the funds to your wallet.
You can easily find the best exchange in google by comparing all with each other and select what you feel is the best for you considering fees etc, because everyone will suggest one but at last you will have to take the decision.

You can buy bitcoin directly in coinbase if you are from US using your debit card.
You can also try buying in localbitcoins. Or find a local exchange on whoch area you are from.

You need to buy Bitcoins first before funding your wallet. There is a lot of exchangers online selling Bitcoins for USD and supporting the debit card as payment method.
