almost most of the Merit you get from local boards. It will be quite difficult for other members to review your post if they are not from the same country as you.
maybe in your local section, there is a thread like this about Merit that can help you to rank up faster. it's just a suggestion, and maybe you can be more active on other boards, some people who are willing to share sMerit, including merit sources, don't really like gambling boards.

I believe you can change your rank very quickly. Because it will be much easier for you, your local board often has many merit exchanges for constructive posts. Also you post very constructively and are very active. It is only a matter of time for you to attain the rank of Senior Member.

Congrats with your account new level reached to be Full Member, but I don't think necessary for updating countdown to Snr Member due many merit points needed, better come back later when your account almost close for reaching Snr Member with 20 until 30 merit points left. There is no reason for it to be difficult to Rank Up as long as there is a will, the more users who are promoted to a new rank further strengthens that the Merit system does not prevent anyone from Up Rank. Merit will come to anyone who is willing to work to get it.

I know how this thread can be relied on to reach a new rank thanks to the help of a countdown but indeed if it's true keep on editing the thread just to update the merit which is still far away for me this is spam because it's like begging for merit to continue to get mercy here.

For me, I still make normal efforts based on the quality of the posts you are doing, so I think don't rely too much here if you are still far away with less merit left.

When one is close to ranking up, he may become overly focused on continuing editing and enjoying the countdown to each new merit he has earned. According to the rules of the countdown thread, one must edit the countdown as it approaches the target, but since this may appear to be spamming the thread, editing it once every 24 hours is preferable to avoiding excessive spamming of the thread.
