Indeed! as you can see the price of bitcoin it is so much far from its price about 4 -5 years ago meaning there is really an significant development for bitcoin plus the countless adaptation from different big named companies around the globe. You have a point about that, sacrificing the decentralization with a faster transaction is not a good idea in my opinion because Bitcoin is decentralized and no one controls it but the majority of the people hodling it determines its value. As what I see, the future of Bitcoin will be awesome even there is a lot of negativity spreading all over the crypto space I am still optimistic and will still believe in Bitcoin's technology and progress to the following years ahead. There's no one saying that any crypto will replace fiat though. Fiat won't go obsolete, so we should learn to take advantage of both systems and there should be no argument about crypto taking the place of the old and traditional fiat system.

I agree with you. I also think that crypto and blockchain will develop and evolve, however I don't think bitcoin will always hold the first position. You are right it's somewhat of a forefather of cryptoverse but some day it will become more of a legend, more of a trophy. It does not mean the price will drop, quite the opposite, but I don't think BTC will become a full medium of exchange.

Since I got more knowledge about Bitcoin and Crypto and all that Blockchain stuff I am thinking about it's future. I'm sure, that those crypto/Blockchain Coins will be part of the Future and that maybe they will replace Fiat. But at some points I'm thinking that the Coins which will lead the future won't be the Bitcoin. The Bitcoin is the native Coin, and the most important at the moment. But in some Points I don't see the Future in Bitcoin.
1. During the Hype the transactions costs where at 10$, who wants to pay 10$ if he want to buy a coffee in the coffee shop around the corner. Furthermore the confirmation of those transactions were very slow. It took too much time for daily usage. Sure, Lightning should solve the problem, and all ppl which are involved in it are saying what a nice technic and that it will be the Future. But the not technic customer has no idea how to use it.
2. In my opinion POW-Systems are also not sustainable for the future. In a world where sustainability and environmental friendliness gets more important, POW is a waste of energy. And, it's not even profitable anymore.
3. Decentralization, the best argument for Bitcoin is the decentralization. But it can also be used against the Bitcoin. Because it isn't as decentralized as it should. 5 Pools would have more than 51% of the total hash rate. It sounds not real, that they would do a 51% attack on BTC, but nobody says that it won't happen in the future.
All those are points against the Bitcoin, but I would like to know what you think about.

I believe that the future if bitcoin is really brighter than today. 1. This is not going to happen anymore. There is segwit and Lightning network now, TX fees are at the lowest and will get even lower in v18.
2. You answered the solution yourself. BECAUSE its not profitable, the last remaining miners will be those using free renewable energy.
3. There is no need to use those pools, and unless one gets all 51%, it doesn't matter. Any attempts to do this gets more and more expensive.

Agreed in that we cant really predict the price so these types of threads are only FOMO, fear of missing out.
I am sure there are a few insiders who can a better diea of what the price may become and when but they arent going to be sharing that information with the public.
