The doge coin price is now low level,with time it can increase in future.
Low doge was at 18 sat whan btc price was around 1000$ and there is around 18 sat now whan btc prce is at 7000$,doge is stable and is gaining to dollar ,if btc correct there is always chance for doge pump
Previously doge coin is also a potential coin, but since the appearance of gambling sites, a person can earn a million coin every day to lead the dogecoin market more and more led to its price drops significantly. Its highest peak appears to be 108 sts but currently it costs 18 sts. Now no one is investing in the coin anymore and it is going to disappear

Somehow it could help. Limitting the supply by swapping it to a lesser supplied nre coin. Too sad, doge is somewhat being left by some people. With its vale, this coin offers a very cheap transaction fee.

I choose to leave dogecoin, never take it again. This coin make me stress and sometimes lost control. Until now, dogecoin doesn't have significant price moving and volume. Nothing special about this coin and I don't have time/ patience to hold anymore. I sell it and loss almost 25% from my money. Just leave it and good luck.

Limiting supply is a welcome suggestion and would probably work to increase the value but I have to say your second suggestion is completely redundant, you are basically moving the decimal point a few places, it would not change anything with regards to the price or market cap.
In all altcoin, dogecoin is considered to be the biggest market for coin and it is very hard for dogecoin to get good prices because their development team can create a lot of dogecoin to be able to sell Bitcoin. For me should not invest in dogecoin as it will not help you make a good profit
I was thinking the opposite. Doge has great potential to use for speculate in market. We can imagine if doge can go up 3sat. In percentage, of course it's enough big.

As for me i'm not seeing any future for doge coin. I have before invested in this coin but the price just stay dormant. It may move a couple but it never really went up high enough to cover for transaction fees. So i'm saying No to dogecoin since then.
Dogecoin is a coin used for tipping. Widely used in reddit. It doesn't get any further than that. It was a meme coin, had its peak, it's the first tipping coin infact. Don't expect it to grow huge, because it won't. All I do with dogecoin is have fun with it, because it has no real purpose after all.

Also, you are right that the total number of circulating supply is too big. Going back to the basic concept of economics - The Law of Supply and Demand, a high supply of a product and low demand will lead to decrease/fall to its value. Dogecoin is not a popular nowadays, and it's not a surprise that its price has drastically fell in the course of time.

In my opinion, creating a sub-coin or new coin derived from dogecoin will make any change in dogecoin's value. There's already a lot of new tokens out there, and people will prefer to choose those projects with whitepapers than this dogecoin-cloned altcoin. Other than trying to revive the value of dogecoin, there's no other clear reason (at least, for now) to create new coin from dogecoin. Creating a coin from a meme coin is not a good idea.
Every time I see a post asking about the future of Doge, I just want to burst out laughing and cry at the same time. It baffles me why doge has so much support for a project that zero development. Cryptocurrency has become a speculation market. This will be the cause of the downfall. It seems noone cares about the value these projects bring.
It is a pity that dopecoin isn't taken seriously because in my opinion it is much better than a lot of blcoins in circulation today. Doge has a reputation as a fun coin, which is wrong, and efforts should be made market it differently

DogeCoin will be HUGE! People love DOGEs. It it a family friendly coin with great marketing opportunities. You have to see the future. It will be a crypto world. Everything will be tokenized and crypto currency will be fully adopted. DOgeCoin could easily become a multibillion market cap coin.
Dogecoin will slowly die. It was created as a joke and now the creator Jackson Palmer doesn't even support it anymore.
