Don't know if you got anywhere with the wallet downloads, I downloaded the source this morning and compiled the daemon on a Debian this morning. It's still got a long way to go for sync it's at 135K blocks so far

RB Any chance of having the Windows and / or Linux wallets uploaded for GitHub. Dropbox keeps returning a 429 error.

most likely your windows 7 firewall entries are blocked.
start windows firewall and delete any entries for gaia while wallet is shut down.
start your wallet, and when asked by windows firewall to allow connection authorize again.

I'm having problems getting the web wallet to work.

We are going to release qt wallets and give the web wallets a new major redo.
I have a few ideas where we want to go with the next Gaia 2.0
since there will be an eventual ethereum POS, a change from App store to Dapp
store is not a great depart from our original Gaia vision.
Maybe we were ahead of our time when we released the app store.

I knew I was forgetting something, connected instantly with the conf file, thanks a bunch

I think my wallet got glitched because it was running when my computer when down due to a power surge the other week.

with less than 10 million Gaia on the market now it could get interesting

I re-downloaded the client from the OP and tried starting from scratch again, both green lights light up but my wallet says zero connections and then says "Gaia platform offline"

I was hoping it would find some connections and start syncing while I was at work but no luck.

seems to have worked, but seems to be having trouble finding a connection. I'll leave it running and see if it starts syncing while I'm at work.

backup wallet.dat in gaiadata folder, delete everything in there, sync again.
shutdown wallet after sync, drop a copy of the saved wallet.dat overwrite. Restart wallet.

I hadn't opened my wallet in a few weeks, then saw the in wallet tweet yesterday when I opened it... I'm surprised devs haven't figured out not to put short time limits on swaps... ends up making even more butthurts. anywho at least I didn't still have millions of them, but still would have been nice to participate considering I was one of the original supporters of GAIA.

fonzerrellie this was an optional swap, and not mandatory. KR is Covertress's project and she offered Gaia holders a swap option.
Gaia will remain on exchanges and traded.
All the Gaia collected from the swap will be burned, so that also means less Gaia supply and a benefit to those who still hold Gaia.
Stay Tuned for the second Gaia Burn to happen today.

Thanks for the heads up, I totally thought it was a mandatory swap that I missed out on. If Gaia is still alive I'll hold on to it for sure. Grin
