It won't be long now, although the code for next release is done and we promised ourselves a week off with family and friends for the holidays,
we are now working on adding a milestone that was scheduled for the dynamic road map. We will keep the details about this off the table as we
do not want to hype GAIA with promises, but by delivering the unexpected as well.

still cant get my wallet to sync therefore the 1000 coins I sent to it are probably lost forever. any tips on getting the wallet working? Ive asked before, but did not get a response

If you sent coins to your wallet address before it synced, they will not show on balance unless your wallet syncs. However they are not lost.
The question is why is your wallet not syncing? make sure it's not blocked by your firewall.
Please save a copy of your wallet.dat from the gaiadat folder in wallet to another folder.
and then re-download the wallet extract files into c:\gaia and click the gaia.exe in that folder.
Refresh the wallet tab in the browser after 10 minutes or so to insure the wallet has synced
Shut down the launcher by right clicking the launcher icon in system tray.
copy the saved wallet.dat to c:\gaia\gaiadat\ and overwrite the new file with the saved file.
Now restart your launcher again gaia.exe
refresh the GAIA browser tab in a few minutes and your coins should be in wallet.
If this process does not work for you please let me know. Also you can PM me the log from your launcher.
*Always keep a copy of your wallet.dat in a safe place, even if this fixes your issue.
