For any investment I usually look out for the white paper first then I comprehend what's in there and also look out for the team behind the project and also there product if its promising.

Hi,

I see a lot of gamblers..
I gamble with small money..
But I made MORE money with long terms.. (2014)

What kind of research do you do?
- do you read the White Paper?
- research the team
- product of not

I've made money from gambling but not as much as I've made by holding alts/btc. Gambling is very risky business if you want long term profit, I am sure there are people who are better than I am. I like to pay attention to white paper, team and more importantly people behind it. Decent crowd can make it a hit as long as they're delivering what they promised. Also, marketing that's a big  one.

I want to know what the project will do in the future and what problems will be solved in the future. For this reason, I read the whitepaper carefully. I care attention to the projects and experiences of the project team in the past. I don't invest any project that I hear from the ear, I examine the project.
I think, investing is risky but invest isn't gamble.  Because the gambling isn't a product.

The current cryptocurrency market is indeed not very reasonable, many people like to bet on the short-term ups and downs, the rise is very happy, the loss is uncomfortable, but the real money, are those investors, not speculators

Investors are taking long-term profit but gambling can only be short-lived and you can lose your money and you can earn a living here, they're both risky and the only scam is to go to investors but to gambling wins and losing the ultimate destination.

For investments I always read white paper and research the team and product, and mostly hodl. If you don't do that then you're mostly speculating, which can also work in crypto but will likely be less valuable long term.

I think if you do not read the white paper, and especially the road map, make any investments more than meaningless, thus you do not become an investor and a player, I think.

I am an investor, when I want to invest in alt coin I always search the perimeter and all the information I need, I search for coin developer and then the promise and how well they convince the other investor, how serious the coin developer advertise their products

I am a gambler and an investor at the same time. I invest on coins which I see is promising and I research well before investing on an altcoin to avoid having losses in trading. At the same time I am a gambler that gambles using a low amount because I only do it just for fun, and not for anything like gaining profit or whatsoever but nevertheless, I want to gain profit in gambling as much as possible. Gambling can be fun sometimes but not all the time.

I'd rather to invest on altcoin than gamble because, the risk isn't much compared with gamble as on gamble you can immediately lose all of your bet while in trading you only lose partial of your money.

What kind of research do you do?
- do you read the White Paper?
Absolutely, you shouldn't believe with the interface of ANN thread yet you have to read all of their project to make sure you invest on the right project.

- research the team
Yes, because most of scammers will distinguish their identity to scam our money. Unless the team comes from trustworthy project like ETH, Bitcoin or Waves you shouldn't try to invest on those projects.

whether of the two, because if you invest into something that means you also gamble your money. Investment is not an assurance since it either your investment will grow or you will loose it all. Well, I also want to invest and learn more on how this business works.

Im both gambler and investor too. I will look into best time to either invest or gamble. However I will invest more as gambling is little risky for me.

While investing I will choose best ICO in the market which is getting more attention from the forum people. Most of them are trusted depending on the team members involved into their project.

- do you read the White Paper?

Yes of course this is the first thing I will do. I like reading white paper of every project and they are very informative and tells us the pathway for the project. We can judge from the description of services how much success it can get. I will have 50% trust built already by looking at white paper.

- research the team

As I mentioned earlier, yes I will look into team and few of them are involved into many projects who are trusted and trying to make the ICO successful.

- product of not or not

Yes I will see the product or services by the ICO. If it is unique and new then for sure people will prefer to invest into it. And more investment means the more value of coin in the future.

I think investors. I do a research team that will handle a project that we will follow. If in the sense his team is less professional and not famous I will discourage my intention to make such investment.

For trading, fundamentals have little to no value for me. For investing, I need to find out as much as I can. I do both, typically long term things have had a way better pay off in the end, just the road to get there is usually full of pain.

If you really don't have enough idea and knowledge into trading, no wonder why for you ait has no value. But there something I like you to know that if your inside the trading platform you are also seeking for investment which you think is good to invest in I mean to buy an altcoin. Though it can be deny it has risk involved too Smiley

Hi,
I think you should an investor. You already tested that, you made money in long terms 2014.

I did not knew where you invest your money in long term. If it was in bitcoin then continue investing in bitcoin.
You already discover your system in investing. Goodluck.

I think gambling is only based on feelings and random estimates that have no logic, but unlike investment, we can survey first, find information and speculate based on logic, so gamble and investment is different
It's different to gamble and to invest in the sense before we invest we do some research of the project first before we put effort and we put our money to grow. So I choose to invest as I believe my money will grow and will profit.
