I feel like as long as you have an amount of money deposited that you don't mind losing, martingale is an okay tactic.

its better just to have a very big bankroll to sustain those big streaks by martingale. And you should start with a less base bet.

every site has a bet cap, so no, that wont work . martingale aka martinfail  Shocked

Martingale can work if you have the discipline to stop while you are ahead. The odd psychology of gambling makes that difficult. I remember at just dice watching people go up 30-40 bitcoins at times only to bust and lose their gains plus their original stake.

Yeah, I remember a guy on JD that would martingale with 0.25 start and would martingale until he made 30 BTC profit. He made 30 BTC everyday for a few weeks and only got to 64 BTC bet once.

wow that is pretty awesome Smiley

as i said martingale can work

but you need a much bigger balance !!!

it works until it doesn't .. better to mix it with some labouchere/ reverse labouchere and some random bets. In the end of the day it all depends on luck.

Because of the presence of house edge, the higher your wagered amount, the less desirable it is to the player. And martingale is very bad in that sense as you will wager a lot to get a little profit.

I have tried martingale strategy. I have got some profit in beginning then I increased the betting amount and lost all my funds. It is very risky.
It might be better to reduce to base bet. This will allow you more longer streaks. However, over the long run a bad streak will happen.

There is no such thing as martingaling safely. You can just as easily lose everything on your first streak; essentially risking your entire bankroll to win pennies.

not safetly, carefuly was the word.

Short: you  will earn dust some time(your win is always your initial bet), then all of sudden you bust and lose everything.

You risk all you have for a little gain

Yeah, martingale is very dangerous and eventually will cause you to lose your entire bankroll. I know from experience xD

When you play in a casino, although there is Martingale, you still lose.
You can opt to martingale in a casino, but no it doesn't necessarily mean, that you will lose. I have had over 5000$ on me a couple of times, and have martingaled starting with a base bet of 100$. I have done this around 10 times, and haven't busted yet :)Up until Last time I tried it, I won on my last bet of 2500, as I was out of money. Took a loss of around 500$, but was up overall, so I have never tried it again. It kills you when you are getting a long losing streak and betting 30 times your base bet.
