Somehow people think Martingale is at fault here, it looks like someone just found out about this particular strategy and noticed it doesn't guarantee profits (huh ? really ?). Martindale can be tricky. Best to start small and get comfortable before going big and serious.
That's a good article. It reminds me of when my maths teacher first explained the Martingale to me 25 years ago. 
I'd only add that an understanding of probability, what are the odds of losing x times in a row, is essential before trying to use it. Also note that is why casinos have table limits.

Does the usage of bots like Ice Dice use strip the "provable gaming" concept? I was advised there is another way provable gaming can be distorted just curious on your thoughts
Using the bet is still provably fair. the code for the bot is javascript you anyone can read the code. all it does is click the button for you automatically. In fact from the server side, we can't tell the difference between a auto roll and a manual roll because it's the same.
