Don't be deceived, not every gamblers who actually claims that they won really won.
Some falsefully speculates that they won just because they want to pave an ease to those who has been advising them to quit or limits gambling simply because the gambler has been unlucky to win instead he keep betting over and over without a good bankroll management in their gambling carriers.
They basically do this because they feels disturbed and inconveniences of the people's opinions and advices towards the gamblers unprofitable gambling experiences

They have to justify their losses and they have to feed their ego that they are doing good when they are incurring losses, I once did this because my friends kept taunting me to show my winnings because I played every day and I kept my results all by myself, so I have to manipulate or show fake screenshots but I learned my lesson that I should not fake it and manipulate, I feel guilty because I was fooling myself more than other people.
So from then on, I kept everything to myself and I was never tempted to show my winnings you'll have peace of mind not fooling yourself and other people.

I always want to laugh when an addict tells me that he had a big win. But after I asked, is the money still there? And he answered that he had run out of money, because the money earned from previous winnings was spent on betting larger amounts. And suddenly I burst out laughing.

I always pay attention to gambling addicts, and they will only tell me that they won big after their money is gone. maybe because they are afraid, if for example I knew he had a big win, then I would ask for his share. even though I had no intention of doing that. And what I just want is that he can be better at gambling. And if possible, he stops these activities, for his own good. Gambling addicts always talk about their big wins, they do this as a form of "defense" against their bad behavior in gambling. Because they know very well that other people know the magnitude of the losses they have experienced. So people will lecture him until the gambling addict's ears feel hot.
Gambling addicts' "great gains" are often a front for their losses. They're insulating themselves from external judgment and possibly from realizing the problem. Its a defense mechanism, but more complicated. A coping mechanism, it rationalizes gambling despite losses.

Despite brief wins and defeats, addiction remains. Financial, emotional, and psychic turmoil are all part of this cycle. Your concern for their health and gambling cessation is not intrusive.

Society must treat gambling addiction as a health issue as much as a financial one. The key is identifying psychological triggers, providing assistance, and creating circumstances where healthy gambling or abstinence is the norm. Breaking the addiction cycle requires this person-centered approach.

It's a common thing in addicts to downplay losses or substance usage. As they don't see it as a problem, but they know other would se it as a problem. So they avoid any confrontation or ideas of intervention. And you don't even need to be addict for that. Most of us like to see our life as a constant success story. We don't count the times we eat unhealthy or time used to play games with playstation or used to watch tv or any unproductive work. And when we know we are wasting our money too much, using our time too much for something, we want to rationalize it to us by saying it's profitable, or how it's good for us in smaller doses, so we keep seeing us doing vices in smaller doses.

Best thing to avoid getting addicted is being honest to yourself and not lying to your friends and yourself. Lying is not somehthing you can build relationships on, not even when that relationship is with your inner self.

maybe they do it to advertise if they make a post in the wrong place and write down the name of the casino site they are playing on, and some people are stressed because they are on a losing streak and they often blame the casino site they are playing on, because when they are on a losing streak their mind goes crazy. lots of changes, all of them become negative

This is quite the opposite here in my place with offline gambling like cockfighting. Even if an individual is the clear winner in a match he might say he still lose. And what's funny about 'em is that you will never know where winners exit.

Regarding the topic I can also see the same scenario but with different intentions by the gambler. They say they have the most win of the month just to lure bettors to possibly fund them on the next match. I could be wrong but that is what I have observed.

As a matter of fact, we don't need to disclose our wins and loss to anyone else and if someone do there is no reason that it has to be accurate so if they say something just by words then just take it with ease and no need to try that by yourselves but most of the person get tempted by those results to jump into gambling in the first place and influencers use this as an advertising strategy too.

If someone claims to have won but doesn't show proof that he won, we don't need to believe him. We also don't need to speculate about their win, especially if we don't see it directly. It's better for us to pay attention to the gambling games we play and always try to limit them.

Don't pay attention to other people's wins or losses because it will affect our gambling game. We want to follow those who have won by continuing to gamble non-stop. That will clearly make it difficult for us, especially our finances because it means we will use more money to gamble.

We will not believe what we hear or see if we care about ourselves. We will just know it without any feelings because we know that we have to limit our gambling games. And that's what can make us realize that gambling is entertainment and not about chasing wins or recovering from losses.

This is true. Many gamblers are defensive. They simply cannot accept the fact that their gambling activities are actually net negative rather than positive. Many of my gambling friends are like this. Perhaps it hurts their manly pride to admit that they are actually just wasting money in gambling. They cannot easily admit that. Especially if they're in front of their family and relatives, they either won't admit that they're losing, or if they do, they would only claim they're losing small. The truth is that almost all chronic gamblers are losing big.

The trap of gambling is that even after winning, such players will not repay their debts, or admit that it is time to stop. Their strange logic will be that “I need to continue playing, because if I’m so lucky, then I’ll be so lucky again.” After that, they lose that big win and continue to lose more and more, racking up a lot of debt.

It’s a pity, but the life of seemingly happy gamers is often lies and duplicity. And when they are asked the question: “Have you thought about suicide?” They are silent and frown.

I'm sad about your point, but I think that's unfortunately so true. There are also gamblers I know who have accumulated so much debt not necessarily because they borrow money for their uncontrolled gambling activities but they often needed money for their basic needs. That's so ironic that they are throwing money away at casinos when they cannot even buy the basic things that their families need. And when they win, you're right, many of them don't even remember to pay their debts. Gambling can even warp one's values.

I agree that it is very sad, and it is incredible that people turn into addicts. The phenomenon that you have described is especially inherent in men. They are ready to follow their goal, their financial strategy, even if it is completely based on guesses and ridiculous hypotheses. At the same time, these would-be players will save on themselves, bringing the situation to a complete absurdity. Their clothes will be worn, their food will be of poor quality, and so on. But they will give their last dollar to gambling.

As a gambler, we already know this fact. So, do not worry. We can mess up to that gamblers that lies and ask them a proof that they truly win big often. I include the word "big often" there, because it is still possible to win big in gambling rarely but most of the times we will be a loser, or we will only win small amounts which we think still not enough for us, and we can't even made a withdrawal for this, so we just continue and get the usual bust result.

Even if we bust them (the liar gamblers), for sure they will still continue of what they are currently doing. It is hard to stop people like that. I guess their conscience are the only ones that can do it.

Maybe some advice is helpful or counter-productive just for the personal benefit of the contact person, but for me, gambling is a behavior that I decide, so if someone shares something, the problem they wanted to address was that I had to experience it in reality before accepting that advice. Don't rush to believe or doubt anything, that's something I've learned in life, not just with gambling.

Like some other profit-seeking fields, I see that they have one thing in common: those who try to attract people like to talk a lot about the results and even the chance of winning with a large percentage. It's easy to understand that this is the way to bet people's greedy mentalities.

Why claiming they won even if it's not? Seems like deceiving theirself is the only way for them to accept their losses and to recruit other people to do gambling so that other people can experience what they have experienced in gambling. It's true that not all gamblers are experiencing wins but at least be true to yourself that you've experienced major losses. lesson learned.

Why being dishonest. When there's nothing to gain but everything to lose(your reputation). What they should know it that in gambling, there is no fake it till you make it bullshit. I caught someone one time and he said that he didn't want to feel left out from the gambling fever. Don't do that spend time in learning about gambling. With the right strategy, anyone can win or at least be confident enough not to say they won when they didn't.

Actually there's no exemption for this on which most gamblers would really be tending to boast up their wins instead of their losses. Just for some for of trying out to comfort themselves or really just that trying to make themselves look fine into other peoples eyes on which i dont really see this for it to be a new thing. People would really be that always having that kind of denial on the actual thing that they are experiencing. Its not a trick but rather a defensive mechanism eh? Just to make you look just that fine but deep inside you are really just that trying out to ease the pain. Its never been simple
but people would really be continuing on doing this just to make them look that just fine. It wont really be that an issue if you are really just that responsible on what you are doing.
yep, it could be called a defense mechanism or in other words hiding one's bad qualities from other people.
In fact, there are a lot of gamblers who do things like this because this is just a general problem and it's not too serious for me as long as you dont say something very excessive like saying you won $1m but didn't get paid, that's really something that doesn't make sense because it's 1m dollar is a very high value in my city so if we find a gambler bragging about things like this, just think of it as normal and we deserve to respect it because sometimes they not only cover up the bad things but cover up sadness of losing too much money in gambling.

IMO, doing bragging like this is actually not worth doing because the more often we lie, the more visible our bad things become, so its better to tell stories naturally or not exaggerate or even cover up with stories of losses, which actually makes people think that in fact we often win because people a wise person will never show his kindness but will more often show his silence or show his bad attitude.
and myself, if one day I am telling other people about gambling, I will show my losses without having to show my wins so that I look low because as gambler, winning or losing is normal and cannot be considered something great.

Anyone doing that probably has some serious issues with their gambling, as hiding how much they are losing is probably one of the most dangerous things they can do, because by doing this those that are around them do not realize how bad they are doing, and they could even begin to deceive themselves into thinking they are actually doing fine when that is not the case, and this could lead them to bet even more money, losing it and then engage themselves once again in an act of delusion.

I mean first off. Why would you take other people’s words for it? I know the world’s not a cold and dark place like they make it out to be but you have to have at litle bit of skepticism at least. First off, no one who win’s a lot og games would have the fucking galls to chat you out of the blue to brag about their wins. If anything they’d let the least amount of people in on their shtick to make sure that it doesn’t get fixed if it was a patch, or to make sure that no one saturates casinos with their technique if it weren’t.

So yeah. Have a little bit of skepticism with these things. It’s okay, no one’s gonna give you crap for being a little curious about a couple of things.
Everyone has their own feelings, some are weak and some are strong, this is like person mentality.
When those who have feelings or are mentally weak then whatever other people say will definitely be taken seriously and they may feel offended so they want to show off something or an achievement just to reply to what other people say.
But for those who have strong mentality, whatever other people say, they won't care because they only think what they have done is the most appropriate after all whatever the results are, they themselves will feel it not anyone else.

I agree that we have to be more skeptical of other people because there are also many people who will only speak as if they are the most right.
In addition, paying too much attention to what other people say also causes us to have personality that is less assertive and less confident in our abilities.

It is better to think about yourself than to think about other people words which are not necessarily true.
But I think there are lot of gamblers out there who feel they are the best by saying what they got because they are proud of their win, it just that words that are conveyed without evidence are just empty talk.

I think oftentimes it's worse than that. Many gamblers not only try to fool others but also fool themselves thinking they're doing much better than they actually do.
It's not hard to get caught in chasing fo a dopamine rush to the point that the grip on reality is distorted.
If you ask any active gambler how are they doing, the most common response is they're in a break-even position. Some of them know this is not true and they'd lie about that deliberately (to make themselves look better), but many just don't keep any record of their profits/losses and get deluded about their performance.

I honestly can't understand why a person would lie that they won when they didn't win anything. I've been following a lot of YouTube channels with people who talk about sports betting, even though they are people who consider themselves professional bettors and give tips on games and give courses on how newbies should do to bet correctly on games, these guys who They consider themselves to be professional bettors, they have partnerships with bookmakers that's why they keep betting a lot of money, they are using the money that bookmakers give them, but they don't lie that they made a bet while they didn't make any bet.

This is because people have a tendency to believe in things that they can see, when they are things that they cannot see, then people don't believe. That's why I keep asking myself why someone would waste time saying that they won while they didn't win anything, that doesn't make any sense. I don't know in which game someone could lie that they won, because in the case of a lottery, I've never seen someone say that they won while they didn't win anything, it's very easy for people to find out when someone else lies that they won the lottery, that's because people start to observe the life of that person who claims that he won the lottery and when they realize that he is not buying anything then they conclude that it is a lie

It's really true that some gamblers don't actually win as they did claim but they do post what they have faked because they probably wan to get some attention of some target audience in the public space probably because they are influencers for a particular bet brand and are promoting the brand so they put up such post to get attention of people to the platform.

It's also true some too do all this to prevent certain attention which probably suggest they should quit gambling so in oder to make it feel like they are not at disadvantage, they just put up such false wins so they think they are profitable but then in the long run it's all self sabotaging because deep down you know how bad you are doing at gambling and this will not help you get any better but when you accept your Faye and probably seek help you tend to get help and even quit easier if you wanted to but otherwise it helps you give room for improvement and restrategizing and becoming a better gambler.
