You have to consider though, that in poker you still have to factor in bluffing tactics... this is a little harder playing online than in real life to actually watch the person you are trying to bluff or calling their bluff, but can still be done online no matter what by placing a huge raise to the pot when you don't have anything that would win. It's not just about folding when you think you are going to lose.
True. But there are some resources available out there that helps with decision making in online poker. One can use a Heads Up Display (HUD) that provides a wealth of statistics, in real time, of your opponents. The software keeps a comprehensive database of statics on all the opponents you play so it's easier to read their play....one can determine the likelihood that their opponent is bluffing by looking at their stats. It's awesome....can't lose...win win win!
