Let's not wait for that situation in life, we have to be responsible and understand the risk.

This is no different from a hobby. People can spend a lot of money on hobbies, and that's not much different from gambling, a person who has a hobby of gambling they do not care about how much money they spend on gambling, which others are an addict, but I think it is Someone's hobby ..

why would you expect to make money? that's a fool's mentality, like saying 'I'm expecting this coin flip to be heads 20 times out of 20.' it always boils down to being a game of chance; you wanting to win or thinking you're going to win has no effect on the matter.

'especially when you win.' really? winning is the only time you make money when you're gambling (assuming you're the one playing). also, stress and escapism aren't necessarily the only reasons;I think plenty of people get hooked just because it's fun, they don't have to hang ongoing problems to pick up a bad habit.

I think it's because of the thrill. Even when you're losing in gambling, playing it is really thrilling, and that makes gambling fun. I think its basically how at young age you are groomed it mostly depend on that. Reason is that if you are bought up in systematic manner where discipline is one of the criteria it would be like a cake walk for them to play the game in gambling even without getting it addicted to it. Because you will always in control as you will always maintain a discipline in your life and will not do anything in excess.

its not that difficult to understand, its all biology. it has to do with the chemical dopamine released when you do something pleasurable (eating, drugs, sex, gambling, etc the list goes on); the excerpt from an article i pulled probably tells it better.

Yes, it is a good point you highlight. If any addicted gamble overcome this addiction problem, then it is good encouragement for all of other addicted gambler, who think that they never come back.
But i believe on it, we always have strong decision for ourself that we always play gambling in a limit. Then of course we will never come in this stage of addiction of gambling.

In gambling addiction there are many ways on how you can control your self to avoid playing too much and to get attached to much into it while you were enjoying the game you are loosing money and that money could help you in the future but you take the risk of loosing it based on my experience i once been addicted to gambling where i lose all my money instead of saving it and help my life to get up and i realize gambling isn't the solution for all problem regarding money, Gambling could wreck our life you will lose then you will comeback you always triggered your self to chase what you've already lose. Instead of moving on and start another day with another money to grow.
