Nope that is not the reason why they are addicted. That is the reason why they are attracted to gambling but being attracted and addicted are two different thing. Addicted to gambling are caused by the the hormone produced in the brain, that makes the person rely on the substance to alter their mood.

You needed the help of your family on that situation as they are the only people who care so much for you, but, it is still you, who should be willing for a change and sacrifice everything just to be a change person.

The same output is happening to those addicted gamblers and if there are people who are lucky enough because of their addiction, they are few. Because they are ending up like that and they are focusing more in their gambling career rather than focusing into some other things that can make their lives valuable.

It is because in gambling there is a big jackpot, when you become a player in their site which you are able and have a chance to win that jackpot. So they are relying to hit it and become an instant millionaire. Quick money in their mind also quick losing in their pocket too, but they didn't noticed greed is one of the tools why they became addicted.

When someone is once addicted to gambling then it s not possible for him to stop himself from gambling without the help of any other person as he do not understand that he is going to to do any bad with himself but he continuously enjoy his life in gambling and losing.

Actually he does know that he's inflicting damage to himself by letting himself get hooked on gambling. The reason why he's not doing anything about it is because he's just waiting for someone to pick him up and help him. This might be surprising as most gambler tend to look as if they're the most stubborn person on Earth but they are just like us. Looking for help.

He needs someone that will monitor him. Someone that would give him rewards (positive reinforcement) for not gambling and then punish him (negative reinforcement) for gambling. There's lots of ways to train someone like a lab rat, look it up online. It might sound cruel because of the term "rat" but it actually works.

Someone is getting addicted in gambling because he is hoping to win big prizes, there are times that a jackpot reward can make you attracted. Others plays a lot because they are chasing their losses which is impossible to get it back because of the low chance of winning.

i think it depend on ones welling if a person has strong determination and well power then he can really make himself free from the prison of gambling. but i think the more important in gambling is to control ourselves from losing money that we cannot afford to lose. i think we should play gambling up to the limit that we can bare and when we fee the need to stop we can easily take the decision i think it will be more effective that stopping gambling at all.

many questions are almost like this. when you gamble, your body will produce adrenaline and endorphins. if you get the adrenaline and endorphins when doing something then chances are it will make you become addicted
