There is mainly two reasons how a gambler gets addicted to the gambling,one is too much greedyness and other is trying to chase his/her losses.
And chasing loss means more loss and with this you keep falling behind and keep gambling for these two reason makes him addicted.

Yes it's human instinct which is never satisfied and always want to be better. Thus, in a gambling person is always chasing the victory and want to benefit. If done continuously it will cause someone to become addicted. I myself if the gamble certainly always want to win and reverse the defeat, but I can cope with it. I still have the self-control that is still far from addiction.

well we really can't tell because once a person starts gambling, It would depend on his preference if they were to immerse in it or not. I've known some people who were, and are still, addicted to gambling to the point of borrowing money to support their vice, but I also know a couple of people who had a round or two and didn't find it interesting.

Well i do agree on you. Some people play gambling for profits and some is to have some fun or to kill their time or just to waste some money but i do believe that most of the people playing just for fun are the rich one and the opposite is to earn more and want to make themselves to be rich

Those people who play gambling games for fun and entertainment are not those who waste their time and money as they do not spend much money on gambling and so do not spend much time in gambling only those people waste their time and money who bet for money.

Both reasons are based on the same idea. It's obviously not true because otherwise we'd all be rich here and have a luxury life. This idea is not being implemented by anyone but the gamblers themselves in their own mind. Casinos sound like a fun, easy way to win a lot of money. It can be fun if you can control yourself and you play JUST for it, but as soon as you want profit you'll never have fun and you'll also lose.

Well in my experience i got addicted to gambling because when i gamble in the first time i won that day, that is the reason why i came back the second day to play and win again but sadly i loss. That loss did not hold me from gambling again instead that loss was the reason i gambled again so that i can recover my losses.

Gambling addictions are just due to having overconfident with it. We need to realize that gambling is not providing any profit making of opportunities at the same time the entertainment from gambling are so expensive.

this fun is not only the fun you get from playing the games but also it is (mostly) about the fun you get from the risks you take with money.
i think it is better to call it "thrill of gambling" instead of having fun because it is that kind of joy that you get from high risk activities.
