Nowadays it is quite easy to indulge in gambling. A lot many online platforms are available and those who are living in jurisdictions where gambling is banned are also able to take part in it through these platforms.
I think that internet comptrollers should ban all gambling sites because many people like it but if they look at the consequences of gambling, they will find it worst. It is better to ban these sites for ever. By this way young people gambling addiction can be controlled. Regular casinos are enough for gambling. We should fix times for gambling and never accede that limit.They can't just ban gambling sites that easily. If a country bans a gambling site, people will still find a way to gamble or to bet their money, that is how hard to ban gambling in a certain country.
With that being said, the only way the government can have a part of this sites is to increase it's tax giving more money to the government and that government can use this money to improve and develop more their country. The way parents can stop their children from gambling online or offline is to take care of them. If they will be really taking care of their children, they should be able to create a good space at their children between gambling addiction. If we will be talking about gambling online, parents can just ban or prohibit an URL to their internet connection in their houses.

I didn't read the article anymore because I know already the answer. INTERNET. The internet is the main factor why most young people are getting addicted into gambling. Everyday, there are many people who are browsing the web and there is a chance that they can see things related to gambling and they got curious and they will try it and..... you know what will happen. Most likely, he/she will be addicted or not.
For me, the best solution that I'm thinking is abstinence. Don't put yourself in gambling. Don't try gambling or you will be getting addicted.

adolescence is very easily influenced by new things, moreover they can make gambling as a fun entertainment and when playing gambling can get its own challenges that make many teens feel addicted to things like that. when compared with adults it is true that teenagers can be very easily affected and can cause addiction in gambling because when they gamble it is done to entertain themselves and get fun while playing because it has its own challenges

Besides, there are enough people that can gamble in a responsible way. Just because a few people get addicted doesn't mean that the rest of us should get punished for that.
Regular casinos have a way bigger house edge than some online casinos, I wouldn't be happy if those online casinos just became illegal.

After recent changes to the merit system, I am trying to do something useful and contribute to the forum. And this is what I collect, hopefully it will change my merit.
That's a no-no! (The Only thing you should do for merits is writing great posts without expecting a merit. If you do something just for the reward, you don't fully enjoy it or you don't do it out of your general concerns.) People usually don't tend to merit posts which are written just for the merit sakes.Please let me know your opinion on this issue and if you have enough power, what would you do to solve this
I don't care about the content now since this post is just for merit sakes and not intended to share any information.lol thats slightly harsh and everyone deserves a little merit for just an attempt to be part of the forum in a positive way. Definitely dont ask for merit but I thought this was a reasonable effort and I allocate merit also in order to how much a person has or requires to progress. Having zero but making a half decent post makes it very likely I'll give at least a merit but yea I never do this when asked because its only given incidentally.
Problem with young people especially is habits are formed very easily when young, nobody should be targeted or sold a gambling product below 18 or they may form destructive habits for the rest of their life. As adults I see far less likely a problem though some always have to be careful of course but its wrong to take advantage of inexperience like this for a profit

Yeah we have the same observation mate,as this is what I’ve always observed whenever i go to the casino ,i use to see many older or mature people before but nowadays the trend goes the other way and itsmore youngsters what you find in gambling places,like here in my region when there’s supposedly older people that plays local gamblings
But now,i find younger versions specially in card games and the local chicken or cockfighting,in which younger generation is dominating.things thats not common for me and maybe for many people here

This may be the good sign for the casino or gambling site owner as young people would keep playing till they won money and may get addicted easily as compared to matured people. On other hand as a society if you consider it is a alarming sign that youngster are now getting more into gambling at very young age which could even threaten a society at some point of time if things continue this way for too long.

Because younger people are much exposed to negative things now compared before. Our culture is also different and the source of information can be acquire anywhere using different types of technology. With this, younger people has more advantage and gambling is the one they have learn through this.
It is true that most of today's addicted people are the young ones because we all know that the young ones are the one who are most exposed to todays negative things. Young ones are the one who spend their time playing games, playing outside and worst is playing gambling. They didn't think of the consequences they may take. I believe that parent's must be aware on this to help their children and guide them.

That is right, it's attract more people to try playing gambling especially if they have the internet connection. They can easily to visit the gambling site and they can start to play the games. The younger people with a big curiosity will come to that site and they will play the games because they want to know how the feeling to playing the gambling game.
And one more thing I would like to add is the impact of crypto-currency. Earlier, the payments used to be made in credit card, which made sure that the anonymity is not maintained. But with crypto-payments, the user can be anonymous. This has also encouraged a lot to try their luck with gambling.

I see it this way that money interest teenagers more at their time since most of them had so many things they want to have or do at that point and they find gambling easy way to increase their money in order to obtain those and that ends up pumping gambling addiction into them.

They think that gambling is the only way that can give them big money in less time besides they know the bad consequences of gambling. Now, thinking level will always differ when it comes to maturity, but in most cases, a lot of them would have been so deep in it, realizing the reality kicking in and then finding it hard to accept that reality until they get burned, grow with it, end up wasteful unless they eventually manage to get help. I guess there has always been a reason anyway for most casinos to have restricted gambling to a certain age, but unfortunately, the jet age has exposed more people who are not even capable of handling emotions into it.

Lol gambling is part of the world since the old ages,before people learn many things ,gambling is already here and even the bible speaks on how those guards gambled about The lors dress so what we can expect?
Addiction in gambling is peoples choice and we cannot do anything about stopping this,why not just do your homework and dont bother making this as your problem when what you only need is Merit lol

I don't agree. I always see more elderly. people in casinos.
The reason is that new generation spends most of their time in computer and online gambling provides them the facility to gamble from their bedroom. Now there is no need to go outside for gambling and the elders will also never know about their gambling. That’s why the number of youngsters increases day by day. They do not understand what they are doing.Yes, they can play gambling by secretly without anyone know and if they played for a long time then they have a chance to be addicting in gambling and we need to worry about them. So for people who have teenagers, watching your kids and don't let them in their bedroom for a long time and talk to them or discuss anything so they can open mind for something that is not for them.
The elderly people you see in casinos are more likely to have control over their expenses and have not much use for their money. And the daring of youth most of the time makes them prone to being excessive in things that interest them.

Young people are very susceptible to gambling addiction. I agree that younger generations are inclined to be very curious in trying new things especially those which has the chance of uplifting their financial condition.
So we need to stay beside them and always remind them to not stay too long in the gambling places before they are too late to get out of the game. Besides that, we can try to prevent for the younger generation become deeper in the gambling game by asking them to do another activity so their mind will not think about gambling. It is better to play online games than playing gambling which they can lose all of their money. I am sure that if we can go side by side with them, we can prevent them to be an addicting person in gambling.
