Actually, mostly gambler are superstitions, may be he is one of them. But it is not bad or good, it is a habit. Because people think that now today they win because of he do something unique and different thing. Then on the other hand, some people think that today they win because of luck, Then clear both are superstitions, but the difference is that we believe on luck but other ones believe on different things.

You have a point. I also believed that most gamblers are very superstitious but some are not just admitting to it. But you will learn from them are they win big and attributes it to something besides luck. You will hear them telling stories about how they change their luck by like changing seat or just simply change their playing way. So whether we admit it or not, most of us are into superstitions without knowing it.

You are right people do follow their beliefs and when they won they do actually believe that it really works but the truth is that they are just lucky enough to win those bets together with their habits or beliefs thats is why they do make use it on another gameplay believing that it would give them another win but sad to say it doesnt work anytime specially when luck isnt on your side.

One time success will not make people believe in Superstition. A couple of wins in the same time or place or strategies or other things will make people belive in Superstition. But the thing is when they follow those things they will win their bet I don't know how it works based on Superstition or their luck. Sometimes I also believe this Superstition when I am watching my fav sports game.

maybe its like they got a sign in one games and then they follow the sign and finally they win the bet. realize or not, some of us here is already follow the sign and i think superstition is like a good feeling that show us how we can win the game. but its back to that person, if he believe this, then he can follow and if not, then he will not follow the sign.

You just added this beliefs to secure that your luck is always on your side, sometimes this is other factor of the pro gamblers. Even if they lose they tend to change the pace it by analyzing it using their superstition beliefs and instinct.

that is what everyone wish to be, but in fact it is not so. in fact in gambling we mostly depend on our luck. and some time people become so much lucky that we become doubtful about him that he has some superstitions power, but there is no such reality.

Yes. Maybe the lucky guy who won big thought that he has superpowers that's why he won. But that is not the case because it really depend on our luck and not on superstitious thing. How can you change your chance with superstition? Nada. It can be change of influence the outcome of the game. So I really don't understand people still thinking that by wearing their favorite t-shirt will change the outcome of the game.

In part of your life whereas sometimes you really do apply being superstitious because that's what our elderly told us when we were young but now it's really not applicable well maybe because of our moderm world and technologies.

When on our younger years when our elders do have this kind of beliefs we would definitely adopt it as we grows and we cant really avoid such thing since we do grow on this kind of superstitions that we would definitely use up when we are playing gambling. Results might really varry on luck but we would really think up that it would work when we do play together with our chants or habits then we would really strengthen up that belief.

It could be. When we see our elder family members gamble and include superstitious belief in it and win, we are going to emulate it when we grow older. I remember my grand father do some superstitious belief himself but I so young back then that I don't understand what he's doing. And later I found out that its lucky charm or something and he always brings it whether he is going to bet or gamble.

Well thats the thing gambling does. Makes players think irrational.

And one colder mathematical look at at a 1.1x payout gives you 90% chance to earn 10% of your initial br. :p

I do not think that gambling make people become irrational, I think what it happens is that people are irrational, people don’t take decisions making a list and then making a choice after carefully pondering their options, people take decisions based on hunches and gut feelings.

I really don't think that superstition beliefs have to do with your gambling I really think it doesn't affect your game.
Maybe you are just fooling yourself and thinking that what happened in the bet was all because of your superstitious beliefs.

Superstitious beliefs depends on what and how is their culture being cultivated, so if that person is deep connected with their culture, his or her superstitious beliefs are deep too.

I am saying that superstitions beliefs has no scientific explanations, which means it all depends on their belief in their culture and experience, maybe someone experienced something lucky when they done something before going to a casino or logging in a gambling site and have seen or believed that it is lucky.
