At first I was superstitous then stopped believing after doing it countless times because for me it didn't worked at all like putting my birth date on the lottery card. Here's my question for you by doing those beliefs did it worked out for you?

I tried this in the local lotto too, I've been betting on it for several years now and haven't won yet. I use the birthdays of my loved ones and never hit it yet. I don't think it affect the results or anything for that matter, it's just a personal preference and will not give anyone an edge over gambling.

I am superstitious but not in gambling. If I am watching my fav team sports that time sometimes I will be like this. But in gambling I never tried this, even this word does not come in my mind. Now I heard this word might be I may use this method in my next betting I am not sure. This is human nature if anything new comes in our mind we must apply that methods in our next move. Will share my experience later.

Superstition? In gambling? I think nope. Because sometimes I've tried it in other but not gambling. I've tried it in somw game shows and all I can say is that it is suits. But in gambling i didn't even try once and I think it is not applicable. We all know that gambling isn't fair so do me I would not rely on superstition. And sometimes gambling doesn't give you any earnings but to get all of your starting money so how can you say that superstitions suits in that. All you have to use in gambling for me is strategy and positive thinking is all you need in able to win. Don't be so greedy and be fair even if gambling isn't fair. That's All. Thank you. What's the positive effect of wearing the same colored shirt or piece of clothing that would improve your chances of winning? I don't get it. I think it just remains the same regardless of what you wear. Heck, you can even wear nothing and for sure you'll not win more. Though, you'll have more people staring at you though.

There are times that I believe in superstition like before gambling I need to make something that is positive. And if I'm not feeling well, I'm feeling that I will be unlucky to gamble. There's a lot of it and most of them are just coming to my mind and thinks only about negativity in gambling. Most of those things I learned from my ancestors.

When we are talking about lottery its still gambling and even how hard you will follow up on your superstitious beliefs before betting it is just like on playing online games since theres no effect on our luck on winning a particular game and speaking of lottery you would need very very extreme luck.

Offline I try to ascribe by default to superstitions especially for lottery where you have to just pick numbers. But online, I dont believe in superstition because even the closest which is time is not valid because my time could be saying afternoon and the server might be reading mid-night. So I just play my game and decide to let go of anything called superstition. I play, when I lose I lose nothing more...

Superstitions has nothing to do with gambling luck and the one you should trust is your own skills, and important is you know what is your capability. Some people has their own vibes about superstitions but in reality it doesn't make sense at all, and in a long run it might disapointed you specially when you got loss in the gambling games you are betting. So you must be confident enough to bet with your own decisions, no other than to be relied on but yourself.

I don't believed in superstitious and it has no connection in doing gamble in a gambling. And I also don't me believed in bad luck or lucky day, For me if you win in the game it is simply because you did the thing to choose in.

Yeah it's very funny that sometimes we are believing these type of gambling superstitions. And I find it believing sometimes too especially when I'm playing dice games and poker. In dice game, if I watched something that relates to gambling and that tells my whole day is on bad luck I won't gamble all day long, the same thing with poker.

I saw a lot of real life gamblers who are doing that when they are losing and when they are winning, they don't even get up of their sit even when it is hot already in where they are sitting...

I don't know if this is included in superstition, I saw some online gamblers who waits a lot of time, specially in roulette and dice, they are waiting for the color and then they bet after those as they are thinking that the color is lucky and they should follow it... Cheesy

Yeah right? In the first there is really nothing wrong about doing those things. You will lose nothing. Tho sometimes this things just get hilarious on some reasons haha

We do have our own approach in gambling, some are superstitious while some just believe only on the figures that they can analyze. Having said that, there are people who believe only that the only important thing to have in gambling to win is luck and skills is not the big factor. Usually they do not succeed and they are those who keeps complaining about losing because they live in their dreams instead of the real world of gambling.

Lady luck is on your side that night. It has nothing to do with your favorite shirt or your favorite number. Although a lot of us has its own favorite number to bet to, but I think its just pure luck that you won. I still don't believe in superstition I just bet and always think that I will win every spin or every roll of a dice.

Hahaha i don't believed on this supertition how if you favorite number on car park are taken? What would you do? I don't believe in mystical things either but when it comes to gambling people tend to start noticing that for example if the light in the room is on - they are losing and if the light in the room is out - they are winning. I don't know how to explain those things but they've been reported for centuries.

For example for me it's my mood. Although I know that the result of a bet doesn't depend on the the mood of the player, I'm trying to not gamble when I'm in a bad mood because I always lose when I'm feeling bad.

Not only superstition even calculation will not work in gambling. Gambling is always depends on luck and also we will not have more than one chance either to make money or to loose money. In gambling many people have superstition feeling that they will make money through gambling but it is wrong.

I don't believe in superstition, but it serves a purpose. Superstitious people fall into these daily rituals they perform and feel better when they are allowed to.
For instance some people like to pray before gambling, to me it's like a superstition, because they believe that saying a prayer will somehow help with their luck.
