I agree. There will still old schools gamblers here that when they started on their gambling journey, they also believed on it. Maybe they where influence but their friends or families and when they become old themselves, they carry this thought throughout and the cycle continues, they may influence someone along the way.

And then there's the new breed of gamblers. Never heard or doesn't believed on it and just rely on their pure God giving talents like in poker or sports betting.

Two complete school of thoughts, but just one aim, to gamble and win big.

I don't believe it, growing up with a gambler father I never heard him saying about superstition in gambling and also don't believe it. For me if you win you are lucky and if you lose its not your day.

superstition would always there as an extra entertainment in gambling , especially for those people who believe in a lot of myths and sometimes lazy to think realistics. gambling indeed about looking for the luck and do something impossible to win certain amount of money. unfortunately things never go as planned and expected in gambling because its uncertainty. superstitions has nothing to do with gambling realistically.

The satisfaction is the most important, when you have fun gambling you'll definitely gonna forget your loses and you won't get a negative results. Most of us are gambling basing on our luck and since there is no exact method to attract luck we tried different things just to have it and win the game.

In the process of looking for luck, some people believe in superstitions. It's just a way some people pick to make the game more entertained. And for sure people will have different ways on how to get excited during the game.

Superstitions have no sound reality grounds in nature .they are only a way person perceives the things happening in his or her life.

Yes, I thought so too, that's why there's such thing as lucky charms. People really do believe in them and they tend to hold on to that belief, regardless of the nationality and age. The sad part is there are some people who rely on pure luck, but others tend to be more strategic when it comes to gambling. And that's where addiction to gambling takes place.

When it comes to gambling, a lot of people who are not superstition in daily lives also become more superstition. Some of the example that they do like wearing lucky charms, or prefers not to sushi or read a book before gambling as they sound alike with 'lose' in certain languages. I also tends to see people try to rub the screen of the slot machine in hoping that they will get good pulls when everything is programmed.

I think it doesn't hurt to be superstitious in a way because it could help you with your mindset. It's not just your gaming that is need, it's also the mind how you think you can be positive on the outcomes because for sure, when the reds (losses) occur, your mind and emotions will feel differently because you need to be positive no matter how hard it becomes.

Well these superstitions sometimes will give us a good laugh but in reality to those gamblers that are believing on this thing are serious about it and we have to respect their belief. Wiw, that elderly scratch on the pyramid is just a real luck. I never experience this on my gambling career maybe if there are times that I'm in mood and I'll remember this, I'll give it a shot and will see for myself if this is helpful to me.

The reason why you still do it is because you have it at the back of your mind that since you win via that method, you can win again but the fact that it has fail once or twice shows that it was merely coincidence that it worked in the few times that it did. Superstitions is something we believe in when we don't have an answer to what we are facing at the moment and sometimes when we just want to believe in it ourselves.

That's because you still want to experience the entertainment in gambling, it doesn't matter if we lose as long as we are spending based
on the amount allocated in gambling. We can have fun if we still have control to our self because once we become irresponsible we will lose a big money
that will make us suffer in the end.

We can all see that on the television when a poker game is happening.
You can see how they are acting sometimes and that could be a hobby while they are playing or their superstition.
I do believe many people are doing it since it had been a tradition for many or somehow they win while acting like this or wearing something and that made them lucky for the day.
