Superstition is the key of every gamblers to be win, because they believe this is a big part when they gamble they believe that this superstition can improve their winnings. But i don't believe in superstition because skills is the best when you gamble and strategy also. Maybe sometimes it works but not always. There's nothing wrong when every gamblers believe in superstition because it is their beliefs. There are many common superstition that everyone practices.
I also use a superstitious pattern but I prefer to call it a positive suggestion, I always gamble in the same hour because I feel in that hour will bring good luck. Although this superstition is actually logically very influential on the crowd at that time. This is not so bad as I'm not doing anything out of logic.
Just do whatever you believe will give you a win, being superstitious gives additional fun to us as a gambler and whatever work to us may not work to others so let's mind our own business and keep experimenting. Nowadays, I think only few gamblers are doing it because mostly the young gamblers would rather be realistic and based their decision in gambling on things that could help them analyze.In gambling people will gain experiences whether it's good or bad one. They will remember the time when they got lucky and unlucky. And then superstition comes. They will remember what things that made them lucky and try to use it again in the next sessions in the hope they will get the same luck as before, vice versa.
Good observation there dude and that actually makes a lot of sense. What worked for someone previously may make them think that that's what makes them lucky. That may lead to a superstitious belief that some routine may actually affect their luck both in a negative or positive way.

Also, there are some "religous person" who are also gambling, there are even some time where I've seen a priest gambling but just for fun. A luck based guess can never be connected to a non scientific one.
However, still myths and some superstitious belief has to belief if the person have the religious thought more that normal person. Well, I feel funny because your superstitions, I never believed in superstition, I always thought that everything was based on science to explain, although there were many problems that science did not explain but sooner or later, scientists also discover that. In gambling, if you are lucky, you will be lucky and if you are not lucky, you will be unlucky, wear clothes or anything can not change that, you wear clothes that you think it brings luck to you because you have signs of despair, and you need something called trust for you to rely on it

I do not see anything addictive that does not involve money, even playing games involve money. Care to tell me which addictive stuff that does not involve money? Physical games still requires stuff that you need to buy to be able to play them.

What are those addictive games that doesn't involve? If that is all about play money or free trials, then it is not gambling. As gambling means about wagering of money and doing some bets. And that's why people are striving to have different beliefs, following a lot of superstitions and at the end of it, nothing new is happening.

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.
