I agree with that, I was deceived that I can regain my losses through playing martingale because I can see that by doubling up you can regain all your losses with one bet, but it did not explain that I need a large bankroll so I can keep up, it took me some games before I realized that it will not work all the time, you can him some time but most of the time the strategy will not work.

If you're not proficient in gambling, you're doing a YOLO.

IMHO, Luck is the most important in gambling regardless of what type it is. There is no guarantee that you will win 100% on sports betting no matter how skilled you are, Maybe 70% to 80% is your chance of winning if you are a good analyst but not necessary you can guarantee a won. Luck is the one who fill the remaining on the 100% winning probability and this is what people always missing out.

There's no sure/guarantee win in sports betting because it is a form of GAMBLING. You need to have a balance of that attributes if you want to become proficient on sports betting.

There are a lot of bettors who gamble big money in sports and compared to casino, of course sports betting is huge since one can gamble at home and they consider sports betting as a game where they can capitalized on their skills.

Yes, that is a very high risk to take, especially because you are relying on others skills and mindset to make profit. We never know for real how the players of a team are feeling physically and psychologically during a match, so everything can happens and someone's financial life shouldn't depend on that.
For this reason I think people who live from gambling probably rely more on their own skills, playing at cards games like Gin Rummy where they are on the control of the situation.

No I don't think so, in casino gambling game I'm ok it's very hard to win on the long run because the probabilities are fixed and remain the same, but in activities where probabilities move like in sport betting you can win on the long run and even earn your life with it if you are able to better evaluate the probabilities than the bookmakers(and the edge they take).
