because there are only few that succeed in this journey but the losses is incomparable .

It's true that gambling has a positive side if you do it right and have fun, but you also have to be aware of the negative side. I also feel the positive side of socialization because I can interact with several people online and also some of the positive sides mentioned by the OP.
However, you need to realize that gambling has more negative impacts and also carries quite large risks, including the potential for addiction, financial and time losses, as well as negative social impacts and many other negative sides.

I have to agree with you. But at some point, I also have this thought that we should look more into gambling having both the positive and negative effects, and it’s up to us how we can weigh things right whether it’s good or explicitly bad for us.

If you are gambling responsibly, I think there’s nothing wrong with it as we also find pleasure and satisfaction from gambling even at a small amount. But if you cross that bridge and see gambling as more of a source of income until you can’t control your gambling urge anymore due to greed for money, then with that situation, gambling will never be good for us anymore.

From self evaluation and the evaluation of a few gamblers around me, i have observed that over time due to gambling activity, some characters worthy of emulation have been unconsciously developed by some.

Some of the characters that i have observed from the life of a few core gamblers around me and myself are;

-Development of Risk taking ability; to win big in life, you must be willing to try, and gamblers have so developed their risk taking ability.

-Development of the ability to quickly let go of things and move on; Dwelling on the past and the possibility of "what could have been" is really not healthy and it can weigh you down and distract you from "what can be". Though not so easy, gamblers have developed this ability to easily look ahead from the "near win" of yesterday, to try again today.

-Positive mentality (that is always believing that everyday we gamble, it may just be our lucky day for the big win).

- Consistency/ Not quiting attitude; Always trying regardless of  previous results.

If you see yourself as a gambler, i implore you to put yourself in perspective and please share any positive trait that has been developed in your life as a result of gambling.

Of course, gambling is not just about negative things. It's called gambling because it's either you win, or lose it.

However, it's pretty obvious what situation most gamblers ended up in, and that was losing. Yes, there are big winners in gambling, and that is possible, but not all people can experience that. If gambling is that easy, then it's not gambling anymore.

It's better to put on anyone's mindset the negative effects of gambling instead of the positive things we can get into it.
