I agree. I always jealous of people, mostly tipster, who is able to consistently make profit. Their balance history seemingly just keeps going up over time. I know that these people are rare, maybe just 1-5%. My experience with gambling has been meh, profitable sometime but losing is kinda expected too. But as you said, I'm in for the fun and thrill, not for the profit Wink

Well if you have a good skill like poker, you should follow or join a "Profesional Poker Tournament" you can get a price if winning the tournament. Also you dont need to spent a money i guess, since its a tournament, not gambling.

Yes that's true and you keep that in mind and you are very safe, just allocate an amount that you can afford, and do not exceed to much time, gambling is quite addictive but if you have your limitation you are safe and fine, you have more fun when you are not depressed when you are losing.

just like when we are watching movie in cinemas spending some amount to enjoy the show right?this is the same as with gambling we are enjoying so it is Ok to lose amount that we allocate to have fun.
the problem is people find it in different way so they treat this as profiteering in which surely will lead us from losing too much.
imagine if you are playing to earn winnings and you lose?another money will be at risk to winback the losses and if it fails again same thing will happen.this is why many of us fails and some becomes addicted.
maybe at some point if there are people we know that has not been involving into gambling?let us guide them not to become one so safeties of their money and life is there.

We can still make money on gambling but not in the long term. It really hard to defeat the house edge or even if you are playing in the live casino. Historically about gambling, this was created for entertainment if you are in gambling just for chasing money, probably it will end up losing all your money. Nevertheless, I won't agree that this doesn't mean making money. Gambling casino owners will make money through gambling and also inventors, but in players, there is 50/50 of assurance.

I humbly disagree with you on this. Any activity that can give you inflow is a source of making money. Go to the gambling sites for those that shows statistics and see the amount people are wagering in their huge numbers for you to decide that they just wanted to be play away with their money. For gamblers its serious business because they have invested a lot of money and time in it which is why they go full blown when they are denied payment or they realise that the site is cheating them one way or the other. Its serious business man.

We can't rely on gambling for a source of income and I know people come into gambling just ti spare their time from the stress life. But think that it would be a source of living, I don't think so. Some people stay in gambling for a reason maybe its because they find themselves in here but basically, the one that earns a lot in gambling is the one who holds the fund( owners). It's nice to think that way, having fun is the main purpose why gambling is created, at least on our side but on the side of the operators, their business is profit oriented. I generally I agree with you points but the gambling business is so risky sometimes even the casino owners fail to make any money.

You can get hacked, betrayed by a team member or sometimes it just some lucky bastard wins big and tie your hands. If you don't give his money its bad reputation and when you lose your reputation you are pretty much done. (some people think it is losing than huge money)

though everything you said is true the problem is this is not easy to apply if you are already hooked in gambling.

Indeed. But we cannot remove that we also aim to win money that's why we are gambling aside from having fun. I don't depend on gambling to earn money because it's a big risk but if I'm lucky enough to win, then that's good. You make money by working and gambling is only for leisure that includes money.
