This is true though but it is been told for a thousand years that gambling will not take everyone to be rich. Yes, some gamblers won their fortune out of gambling but most of them are usually called in our country "biglang-yaman", that refers to people who suddenly got rich. They don't know how to manage their money so they end up spending their money without earning from it. There are somehow knew how to handle their money and raise themselves but not all of us can be that guy.
it only depends on on the gambler if what is his game . if you will only look on the chatbox on every gambling site , most of these users were only talking about profits or how they can earn more on that site . users that you dont find there hang out are i think the one that play for fun because once they done they will just logged out . nothing wrong with that but as long as you can iniate them properly ( e.g you dont get bust once you profit and you dont get stuck once your enjoying )
In short gambling cannot be a source of income if that was your purpose , its only for fun and mostly for rich people who has no problem on money and business owners or rich people who are sleeping on tons of money imagine most gamblers spend thousands of dollars on casinos just to entertain themselves or escape from stress or family problems etc., If you want to earn from gambling you must start your own casino as business.

Gambling should never be your only source of income, that is right. Gambling if you can afford it and gambling when you can afford it is the only right way to do it. If the money you put on the table does in no way interfere with your well-being it is OK. The moment you invest something you can't afford to lose is the beginning of your end.
If its only for fun then they are not limited to gamble there are more things can give the fun more compared to gambling so gambling is combination of fun and thrill in the uncertainity of our results but we never have to think it as source of income which could do the damage to our life.
Your statement is not for every one, it DEPENDS on the people. If that makes them happy then let them enjoy things. In the end, they are the one who will suffer from doing it. But if you ask them, they will say "atleast we enjoy playing." So like what I've said, it is based on how the people treat and experience things.
But overall, gambling is a risky thing for you in order to win money. You can't predict your fortune, can make you loss everything. But if you win, it will make you a lot of money. The great thing to do is to DISCIPLINE YOURSELF and CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS to avoid GREEDINESS.

I agree with you up to 99% with gambling you will mostly lose money rather than win it.However a few lucky persons have changed their lives with gambling.These lucky 1% are people who have won multi million jackpots and have won crazy amount of money that they could never made otherwise.

Gambling can only be means to entertain, relax and give the adrenaline punch to yourself, it can never become a source of income. It where you lose your income. Once in a while win can never fill the gap. It is pure game of luck with some skill and discipline.
