Gambling can't be put to an end because you can't force casino owners to close down. I guess not. Gambling always was and always will be. I dare to say it's one of the human innate properties (combination of greed and fun) ... the diference is some can controll it but some can't. It's pretty good adrenalin/fun and I have nothing agains people who can afford it but borrowing money just to gamble them is really bad approach (as you said it's kind of illness/drug and serious cases should definitely be treated).
My personal opinion is such people are not very smart (or well educated) thus we can't expect them to fully consider the consequences (they realize it when it's too late).
Hmm, I thought it might just happen. As for the issue of gambling is the main thing that determines success is the community and users of gambling itself. Because more and more gambling because many who wanted gambling, so I see that gambling is a market (business). So, for that the main thing is the loss of interest in gambling. If gambling is being then it is definitely the more fore gambling lost, but who said that doing a demonstration on gambling. It is indeed a good way, but it will not turn off the root that is already embedded.
