Frankly it depends on how much I intend to gamble at a very moment and it also depend on what I intend to do with the winning if there be a win at the end .
Lately I’ve been thinking slot games through and I’ve been seeing some very good opportunities in it but I also understand the risk involved but I think the risk in slot games are far more than that of the regular soccer betting.
Let’s look at the risk with aviator games and when there is a loss, there a total loss of the stacked amount but the win are only in percentage which make the risk greater than the profits and I wouldn’t advise anyone going into this except for luck sake.

I feel more comfortable booking and playing soccer games  but I wouldn’t mind trying out some slot games if I have some spare cash.

Even if there is no survey or research about that, we knows that gambling can cause someone become addicted to gambling easily. Gambling is gambling and that can makes someone keeps playing gambling to reach the wins which they will difficult to gets it no matter if they add more money.

All gambling games can be addictive so the only way from us to stay away is by having a good and strong self control. We will not becomes addicted to gambling if we knows how to treat gambling with right so we will knows how to prevents ourselves from the gambling addiction. Gambling with the fast results or long process can makes people becomes addicted to gambling so we must avoids that happens to us. We can learn many things to prevents that so we can treat gambling as a fun thing.

I don't think that there was a survey or research about which type of gambling causes addiction faster. Gambling is gambling. Trying to distinguish poker from slots and roulette doesn't change anything. All types of gambling can be addictive. From my experience, what I can say is that poker becomes boring, after you play it for more than two hours. That's just my opinion, there might be some hardcore poker players, who can play for 8 hours or more without any break. I also don't think that poker is a "slow result" gambling game. You get the result after playing every hand you were dealt with.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I have to say, for me it can be fast and slow slots. Because sometimes I use a small bet for each spin, so I spend quite a lot of time and enjoy the process and sometimes it can be fast if I use a larger bet and it quickly drains my balance.

Regarding Poker, I don't understand the game, or I still need to learn a lot, because I lost several times, even though it's quite long in the game, it's still quite brain-draining, hahaha.
BTW football can also be included in one of the examples, and can enjoy the tension of the process when the match takes place.
Of course, slots are much faster to make someone addicted, because the game is quite easy.

There's no exemption on games as every game is very addicted, that's why casinos will always provide us games that is fun to play, so we will continue to enjoy until we get addicted. However, it always depend on us, because if we don't understand how to manage the risk, then most likely we will be one of the many that will be addicted in gambling.

I personally play more bets on sports than other type of games, but I'd say I could easily be addicted in sports betting as for me it's quite challenging so I'll never stop gambling until I figure out how to win and become profitable. Also, I can't deny that sometimes I loss control of my emotion and I chased my losses with aggressive bets, so that's my weak side.

In terms of quickly developing an addiction, i'd say they're on the same level, depending on how you'll react to your losses.

Sports betting might take longer on paper because you mostly have to wait for your pre-live bets to get settled, still, there's always a possibility to get addicted in a short amount of time.

An example would be the sportsbook's cash-out feature, one losing bet is enough to be the trigger point to start chasing your losses through live betting when sportsbooks rarely run out of live markets to offer throughout the day.

Sports betting is also a good example of games that takes a process before the result is known, and as a gambler myself, I've come across alot of gamblers who are addicted to sports betting particularly.

And on the other hand, slot games (like you've mentioned) is a gambling game where results or out come of games are known immediately or just a second or two after the player clicks the spin button, and I've also seen a lot of gamblers who are addicted to slot games..

So, in general now, there is actually no particular genre of gambling, or in gambling that causes or promotes gambling addiction faster, getting addicted to gambling depends solely on how much a person loves and how often he or she gambles, people see and love things differently, and to different extent as well, so also it is with gambling games.

Games like slot games and aviators can also sometimes affect someone's emotions so easily. Imagine someone is playing Aviator (which some casinos refer to as crash landing, etc.).
 
Why you're watching the point move and your stake amount multiply under your own very eyes with the hope that the person can make more than that If they can be a little patient, it all landed in the game, crashing and everything that could have been made lost, and this can just continue happening under a few minutes. Such an event can also have a negative emotional impact on the gambler.

On this case, it depends on how the gambler is familiar with the games, whether skill-based games like poker or sportsbetting or those casino classics. But if a gambler will explore those luck-based games, then they should not expect that there will be good results afterwards because most of the time, you will be on the losing side. Whereas, if you are a skilled poker player, you have higher chance of going home with winnings as well as long-time sportsbettor.

With sportsbetting and poker game, the more you live and breathe this sports, the better chance for you to earn good money. However, when you dedicate yourself to these luck-based games such as dice, hi-lo, roulette -I don't think you can really say to yourself that you won't get wrecked by these games.

What kind of skill are we talking about? I'm guessing that you're talking about card games such as poker or blackjack, because I can't possibly think of any regular casino game being skill-based. I fully identify with what you mentioned: playing slots, dice, or any game that simply requires a click of a button can quickly consume you without you realizing it.

For this reason, I generally prefer sports betting, especially football, which I find most interesting and have a basic understanding of how things work. Otherwise, aside from betting, I'll play games such as Crash or Crazytime. I'm not sure how you'd identify them, but the results aren't appearing on the spot.

For me, games with fast results bring the least fun but in the long run gives me the more money, while games with longer run time are more fun in general but yield me less profits when all is said and done. Not that it's something that is inherently wrong per se, it's just that sometimes even as a gambler who does so for the lols and entertainment, I every now and again want to have a little bit of profit to brag to friends about, and maybe buy nuggets and chicken wings with, this is simply impossible when I want to gamble in games like poker, or blackjack cause I find that the longer I sit at the table and play the game, the more money I lose. And this is despite me having fun while playing.

On the other hand, simple games with instantaneous results doesn't really do it for me when it comes to the fun part, but since I can play more of it, I am able to win more and earn more. This I try whenever I want to win, or when I feel like hoarding money for the bankroll is more important than having fun. I still end up playing more long-running games at the end of the session though, so there's that.

As per addiction, I think the silent killer are those with instant results. You don't realize just how much money you're losing until you've checked your bankroll and it's empty, and to top it all off, it's so easy to justify revenge gambling on instant-result games.

About preference, I think it depends on the gameplay and how much I enjoy playing the game, whether the results are quick or not doesn't matter unless I'm short on time but want to make a few bets, like if I have to work but I have a 15-minute break or something and I want to do some gambling, in such situations, I would prefer games with quick results such as dice, roulette, slots, etc.

I'm not completely sure because I don't play games such as poker, but I believe games with quick results are more addictive compared to games where you spend 5 to 10 minutes on a single hand which means you are killing more of your time instead of spending more money which isn't the case with games having quick results.

Well, personally, I love sports games, mainly soccer, and sometimes I would stake on different games that could last for more than three days. So, there's no kind of game I cannot prefer to gamble on as long as the game is fun to me, and as far as I understand the game so well, I will always play it no matter how long it takes to get a result. 

From my gambling experience, I will say without hesitation that casino games such as poker which happens to be fast games are easily and more addictive than other games where you will have to wait a long while for them to play and see the results of it tallies with your picks, fast games comes with a whole lot of false hopes, forgetting they the casinos have got Total control and can manipulate as much as they want except you get lucky.

For games that take longer time, the chances of getting addicted to them reduces much more than it is with the fast games, after every rounds yo have to wait a long timw which in some cases may lead to loss of Interest for those who are impatient and are not willing to wait, it's also possible that before the commencement of the next round the gambler might have used their funds to do something else and will not be able to posses the capacity to gamble again which in a way can cortail their addictive probability.

For me personally, winning too quickly is very unsatisfying, especially in slot games. This means that what you look for in gambling is excitement, challenge and satisfaction from playing for a long time. However, when faced with a quick win, it usually requires us to withdraw the winnings, as a result the satisfaction of playing is not fulfilled. If you withdraw 50% of your winnings it will actually affect your next winnings, sometimes it is no longer easy to get big opportunities. In that slot, when you withdraw 50% of the results from a quick win then in the next game the remaining 50% will only be lost quickly.

For this reason, I only do two things, if I get a quick win then I withdraw everything 100% with the risk of not being satisfied playing or after getting a quick win, I continue playing with the risk of the balance potentially returning to zero but the satisfaction of playing is fulfilled.

People have their choice but I feel like there is more fun attached to that much suspense, think about watching a live football match and that game is on your ticket, the tension and suspense from the first whistle to the final whistle is unmatched, it's a lot fun than instant gambling like the roulette, dice or spin.

Both can get addicted, it just matters on how we regulate the time and finance we put into. Since the long gambling style takes a lot of time before the results is out I think it is more safer to limit addiction compared to instant win or loss, once the results is out the gambler has to decide immediately whether to fund again or not and someone who seems aggressive would love to which increases the risk of getting addicted.

In this aspect, none is more better than the other, all we should only have in consideration is our own personal desire and choice, some will want to go for some of the virtual games for instant result and pay, while some may like playing to wait for some particular time and season to achieve all they want, betting in gambling is just for fun and we are to make decision on what we want.

Quicker results could be exciting to players who's really eager and aggressive to win, most likely they tend to become much addicted and their gambling fantasy increases. How much more if they seem to observe other players got lucky to win such amount from faster games. Most games includes sports betting which based on odds, unlike with slots that were pre programmed for ready made results in which the house owns the certain outcomes.

There are lots of fast or instant processing games but the ones I often play are dice and roulette (lightning roulette)
These two games are actually the same as slot, only for me I can enjoy each round more and can also set strategies to make a profit.

Blackjack, poker, baccarat and other card games are games that are of great interest to many gamblers and even when I have a very long time, I still make these games my favorite games which are very suitable for spending my free time.

Roulette my favorite game to get profits faster but also last longer.
And actually all fast games such as slot and roulette can also be games that take longer as long as you can manage your financial gambling budget.

Depends on each person's mindset. A gambler who has a positive mindset understands how gambling works, they will definitely not be addicted to playing any type of game.
But in many cases I see fast games like slots being one of the games that more quickly drives a gambler to become addicted.

Honestly, I am both for them. I'm mostly into those long type of games which are into sports/esports and then when I get bored, I go with the quick result or phasing types of gambling games.

Well, all of them are addictive. It doesn't define which is which but the effect of them are just the same based on how your gambling activities are.

They're all fun but at the same time you can be both addictive to each of them.
