I guess I have to agree with you. Sometimes, choosing your kind of game depends on your mood. If I want to be more challenged regardless of how long the game is, I prefer to play poker most especially when I feel luck is here with me. However, in some instances, if I just want to play quickly just to kill some time, I prefer to play slots. In just a second, the result is already there.

With regards to what kind of game is more addictive, I think it’s not actually on the kind of game as every game is fun and exciting. It’s on how you instill discipline everytime you gamble, whether you keep boosting your urge to gamble until satisfaction hits you, or you only set a target to gamble, when you lose your spare money, you’ll immediately leave the casino and go home. With this, you’ll never get easily addicted to gambling.

With good self-control it indeed that you'll be preventing getting hook too much, just use your spare money and if everything already busted then stop and quit, though there are gamblers who can easily be drive by their lust and desire, and most of the time those who play a quick result luck base games are those who got addicted, as they keep adding more deposit to try recovering or keps on playing when they already getting good results but chooses to stay and lose the money back.

I think the best is fast play as no longer than yesterday I lost a lot of money by betting on US Nfl and bet on different over options in different parlays and one game ruined them all for me, this got me nervous and I prefer better to know instantly my results so waiting is not my thing apparently. The problem is in instant game results you play against a really high risk called variance in slot machines as if you hit the time when variance is bad and you feel consecutive lost sessions which can damage you a lot. Still the best thing to do is to play fast result games for me as it makes your day better or worse much faster than sport betting depending on the results.

I agree, I have exactly the same approach to games. Sometimes I can go months without playing because I'm just not in the mood, and sometimes I can sit down to play games for a couple of hours on the weekend. As for sports betting, I've been placing them rarely lately because my favorite clubs don't show the results I'd like. And boxing won't be until December, so I'll have more than enough time to analyze.

Everyone has his own taste. But a lot of factors influence on a decision what kind of gambling game to play. With a small budget, I think people would prefer games with fast results. I think that nobody would go to gamble for a dollar on a roulette. As the same nobody would load 10 thousands in a slot machine to play minimum bet. As well as nobody would go play roulette or poker if he is just passing by or have little time.

I prefer games with fast results, because I believe if I quickly play and win or lose my small deposit, it wont affect me much and I wont turn addicted. I believe that the more I will be involved in process, the more I would want to continue and return.

I watch players play completely different games and at different speeds. But one trend is still hard to miss, it is that players usually start smoothly and slowly, as if they have an eternity, but this is understandable, they just want to stretch out their pleasure. However, then something else happens, after several losses in a row, there is almost nothing left of the pleasure and they start betting quickly with a large bet that does not comply with their money management, which means they violate the principles of safe play for their deposit, which ultimately increases the luck factor. Of course, for most players this will be a direct path to loss, so I advise you not to repeat such common mistakes. I always prefer a slow game, even if I lose, I will enjoy the game, which means I will be left with a minimal, but good mood.

Roulette takes seconds and also slots, you can also change odds within seconds, I believe most gambling games are like these, almost all casino games are with fast results, I actually don't play anything else, with fast result or slow result it makes no difference.

To think about it, thus it matter? Because even sports games takes up to hours before you get your results and yet losses still happen, is this something we should be discussing? Any advantages maybe? I am also into sport bets but they are all gambling, in the end everything depends on luck.

For some people, long period of gambling makes sense for them, but not me because of the games I choose to stick with, for example slots, I don't spend much time on slots and the little time I spent are always worthwhile.

I also prefer to play various gambling games and do not even think about it. For example, when there is a great match of my favorite team, I will bet on it, and sometimes I want to play MTT tournaments in poker and pull off some great combinations with bluffs. Of course, tournaments with deep stacks last several hours, and you need to find time for this, because in everyday life there are many different things to do. Therefore, I noticed that I still start to bet more often than play long poker tournaments. After all, for a long game you need to have a sense of perseverance and if we get tired of this process and want to throw away the cards as soon as possible, then we will be a bad player.

Yes, this would really be that basing up on someones preference or choice on which if you are someone who doesnt really like those long duration games then it would really be that up to you whether you would be choosing casino based games or would really be that wanting on dealing with sports bettin on which this is something that you could apply some analysis or strategy.
For me then i would really be wanting or liking to have that fast results or outcome on which it would really be that best t hat having that fast paced because im a type of person

Personal reasons indeed come before logic.

It seems that the EV- games are being put in the "fast" category and the EV+ games are under the "long/slow" category. It reflects the public attitude of quick games and quick satisfaction vs long games and patience. The first category is like the junkies who run on meth while the second one is like a wise old man.

Even then either games can lead to losses before you know it, so end of the day they are all gambling.

I prefer long games because I like the process of playing. I love sitting at a poker table playing with friends and even with strangers if there are no friends around. I 'm even more relaxed when the money is low. In fact, betting low makes the game more fun because people don't get angry, they don't look at you like they want to kill you, you don't feel like you're taking their last money. It's all friendly when the money is small and playing is so much fun./ I could bet all that on a single roll of roulette and leave, but that's not why I gamble.
The downside is long games can be more addicting, but ultimately it's people who chase wins and really want to get some money out of it that become addicted.
