Yes people are confusing crypto currency with the gambling but these will be cleared once people get enough knowledge about what is crypto currency.The adoption might take time because the fiat system is been in the use for too long so people will gradually accept the future money system slowly.
But for gamblers the crypto currency is very good and also increases more people to gamble because we can hide our identity in crypto gambling.

At the moment i would say yes, but as soon as bitcoin starts going up and transactions get slowed down and miner fees hit the roof like it did earlier this year, than gambling with it would become rather impossible, i think in order for it to become fully subtitle and better than fiat for gambling the scalibility issue needs to be fixed, a problem which lightning network aims to fix, which is something that i am looking for this year.

There is space for both but obviously growth requires development of the protocol, usage and interaction across the community. People tend to have a rigid idea of a concept rather anticipating how it might change and evolve. Only a lack of imagination would say crypto is just for gambling, too many think you must hold a whole bitcoin to take part when it is not tied down like that.
Growth mostly relies on efficiency and adaption so any business can take part, since we have much lower fees proceeding through 2018 I'm more optimistic of growth then I was last year regardless of price action.

Gambling used to be one of my favorite things that I did the most at times when bitcoin was less than $1000 and directbet was online. It was the only site I trusted the most because I never needed a registration there in order to bet on my favorite sport and can gamble any time at my convenience.

I like the concept of cryptocurrency which is anonymous, with anything I can use cryptocurrency as a bridge. With anonymous I can freely to do gambling, all we know in various countries gambling is strictly prohibited so to make a bet would be difficult to do. I guess if some gamblers know cryptocurrency can use for a gambling especially with anonymous, they will immediately use cryptocurrency quickly.

Yes it is, but we still need trusted casinos as currently there is no casino which actually follows the true anonymous nature of bitcoin, there are sportsbook like nitrogensports which don't ask for kyc (as far as i can recall) despite having a casino the only problem there is it's not probably fair which sucks
But speaking of dice it is perfect example and that has been growing flawlessly

Yes, it is easier now, using bitcoin over online gambling is really convenient and anonymous, we don't need to go out just to take gambling, we can still enjoy over our computers or laptops inside our home and it seems to be more suitable for gamblers. Grin

For people it might be thinking an easy way for those who do gambling in the country where it is banned but understand one important thing that you might not earn that much that once you are caught you will go to prison and and also have to pay penalty.

Definitely in the last couple of years, crypto gambling have gained a wider audience globally because you can play anonymously as long as you have the crypto to deposit and have internet connection then you can start your journey. That's why is already a billion dollar business now and as @SyGambler, they are posing a threat to fiat and traditional casino and taking a big chunk out of the huge pie in front of the gambling industry. And the more options for us gamblers, the better, if you wanted to just play in your living room without the hassle of traveling, then online gambling is for you.

Did you just recently discovered cryptocurrencies on gambling industry? or just recently new into this market. Crypto is been quite here already specially being used on gambling which there no doubt it do really gives faster transactions and give convenience into its users thats why it become more popular and already widespread into the market and talking about dodging the law then its really capable and this is the reason why i do like it.
