I recommend no one because there is no authentication of online casinos and many of them are scams. They took investment of innocent people and never paid them. You cannot claim it anywhere because crypto and gambling both are illegal in many countries. Better never gamble in online casino with your crypto.Your information is a bit outdated. Maybe the situation was like you say several years ago, in the very beginning of crypto casinos, but today you can find established provably fair gambling sites, read reviews on them and decide whether to play there or not. I totally agree i feel like in the early days of bitcoin there was no real ways, there were no investments where you can actually spend the bitcoin that you either mined or got except for gambling and buying things off the dark net, and i think that usage has continued on and got even more popular as its price started going up, and probably if we can make some statistics or start a survey we will probably find a large number of the people would be using bitcoin for gambling , which shows how much gambling has played a big role in the growth of the bitcoin market. 
I think the crypto market now seems to be more suitable for gambling than for normal life, as it seems to solve a lot of things like fast, convenient, anonymous and easy to dodge. the law.

I understand what you are trying to say but you're going far from what the topic we're discussing here.There's risk and when there's one involve you have no assurance that you can do it several times but it depends on what are you implying with buying and selling. Not all the time you're in good prices to sell and there are buyers that will buy what you sell with higher price.

I think it depends on each person on how that person wants from the crypto and his purposes to join with the crypto. and if he only wants to use crypto for gambling then he can go with that. but I think there are other people that want to use crypto for making a better life so they can try to make money from the crypto.

You can call it whatever you want. Basically its a type of trading. Now some people think trading and gambling to be synonymous but I can tell you that they are not ever remotely similar. Only the fact is both are associated with risk and high returns if you are lucky.
In gambling you can never win in the long run because the house edge is always going to make you bust. While in trading if you are watching the market you can make predictions based on the market FUD and news. But then there wont be any single shot wipeout of your money unless you end up buying some tonnes of shitcoin.
