Absolutely. The entertainment side is only an alibi when losing too much in gambling. They are just tricking themselves that they did it for fun so that the loss will not hurt so much.

it is not an alibi for me because I do enjoy gambling although I am losing, I make sure that the amount I bet is the amount I can afford to lose, I think there is no problem with your gambling hobbies if you know what you are losing.

If you are not really addicted in gambling then it is fine for you to play, because you can control yourself and that is good to you. Once a person become addicted in gambling that will be become wrong, because many people really are out of control on playing gambling. Their mind dictates them and mind is really the one who's controlling us.

The bad thing about quitting abruptly when you're already addicted is you might end up being worse than you were before. Some people just can't keep away from the temptation and the feeling of trying to recoup their losses and would do a lot of things, some illegal, just to support their addiction. Too bad they let themselves be carried away by their emotions.

Yes gambling is a game that relies on luck, so we can win or lose. If we intend to gamble for profit is wrong because I do not think gambling is not going to waste the money we had. We've all lost and lose money in the betting and gambling it at the fair.

Definitely, if you gamble for the entertain then it will never be wrong, you might lose but the happiness you can get is more precious than the amount your spend. The only problem is when you gamble without thinking your limitation because you will lose a lot of money in the end.

Well on some people in their way of thinking gambling is not wrong for them, but in my opinion the way I see it gambling really is wrong for some reason I can tell it because for our Lord GOD that I have read in the bible it is truly wrong but we as a human being has been in gambling because of our sins and we are so much losing on that sin because that is supposed to happen as a human I am sinful too because I am still playing bets.

We'll look hypocrite if we say that gambling is wrong and yet we are doing it... As far as I see it, as long as you don't affect those that are around you and you don't violate the law, I think gambling is not wrong.

Well that is your opinion and I respect that, but for me gambling is really wrong and yes I have played gambling back then but I am a change person now after starting in reading the bible and accepting Jesus as my savior I have never played gambling ever again, and I have decided that gambling is one of the wrong doing a person would cause him to sin that is why I stop it.

It is bad if you do not look or monitor your losses. You might be enjoying the game but if you are losing too much, then it will be hard when you come back in real life. You are losing too much that you may not afford it. And if you are enjoying it too much, you may spend too much time in gambling. You may also neglect some important things other than financials like jobs or family.

it is the rock bottom for some people and for some others it happens when they have not yet lost a lot of money.
the later is a lot better becasue you still have something to fall back on.

But normal individuals like us, we cannot be assured in winning daily in gambling. Most of the time, we lose. It is wrong to rely on gambling for your daily income.

It depend on what type of gamble do you play. Since play dice, you must face house edge, it's rather difficult to beat rather than if you're playing poker since the game based on strategy ( bluffing specialist )
