I do not think religion has anything to do with gambling. Even if your religion tells you it is wrong, you will still gamble if you want it. I think the more you say that gambling is wrong, the more people will gamble. Because it is exciting to do something illegal and get away with it.

Yeah! religion only tells us not to do bad things or God will punish us, and I can say that gambling is not a bad thing as long as you know how to do it the way it should be, gambling is a pure entertainment that you need to pay to get entertain and that's it.

I strongly agree with you , gambling is just for entertainment only but it still involves money on it. Gambling would be bad if you get addicted into it and you lose all your money and it would definitely wreck your life. Dont treat gambling as a source of income because it would lose your money right away.

yeah, I am not muslim so I have no idea with their beliefs, in gambling there is no religion as we are all welcome and I do not agree with calling gambling as wrong and against any religion, it is still on the specific person who handles his gambling hobby if he can do it responsibly.

Those gambling that is done underground are the ones that are illegal - there are government approved lotto games and some other gambling that is designed for entertainment.

It only exists in some countries, I see that most countries in the world it prohibits gambling. Because with the advent of gambling their economy could be distracted because there is no control. And also the gambling is indeed just for entertainment, but all people are misinterpreting so it is ruining people's lives. Gambling is not wrong, but should be mandatory and blame are the people who do it

That is right. In the advent though of new technologies and the creation of bitcoins which can easily be use to play in online casinos nowadays, It would be tough for the government to control people from gambling.

I guess the best thing we can do is spread the word that gambling is indeed for fun and use only money that you can afford to lose. Government may also require gambling sites to post words that will be visibly seen by players that gambling is just for fun and only use money you can afford to lose - just like what other governments are doing with pack of cigarettes where they include pictures of cancer patients swelling body parts due to smoking.

Yeah if you consider gambling as an activity that it's wrong you are probably a nutjob that needs to be put in a straight jacket and locked in a mental institution. Sorry but that is how it goes when people in 2016 still think that making stuff prohibited by the state is going to improve people's life.
