True, but if you can manage keeping yourself in check and not play for a profit and only for fun, and only play once in a while, gambling not wrong However, if you know you cannot be controlled, stay away from gambling.

That's the hard part though, a lot of people have trouble once they get started. It's a slippery slope, and it's one that I'd rather people not try to walk on.

Gambling is not at all wrong if you are playing just for fun. If someone is addicted into the gambling and don't have their own control and if it is affecting their personal life, social life and also there is a load on their bank balance as well due to the loss in gambling then it is wrong. if it is just for fun and one has total control on their self then there should not be any problem.

the thing about gambling resumes to SELF CONTROL,without these we loose all invested ,there must be a limit that we can play if win take the diference out instead play with high ammount ,but well who didnt like to be milionaire....loteries atract milions of gamblers dreaming with the prize.... .

I don't think its possible to gamble for free, if you could then everybody would be gamblers since there is no risk.

It is possible to get money for "free", but it's only until a certain time until your luck runs out.

A martingale method can last relatively good, but eventually you will lose all your money.

But if you can be disciplined and stop before that, you can walk away profitable.

If you have no self respect and self control, that is true. Gambling should be fun and you should gamble what you can effort. If you cannot manage that, YOU SHOULD NEVER GAMBLE.

I still confuse about self respect. Is there anything correspond on this? Self respect have nothing to do with gambling. May be you can still explain it why

Well on many gambling sites, there are faucets or no deposit bonuses for you to try them without risking your own money. It allows you to gambler for free, but the amount is usually very low.

Not true. What MinerHQ said is in fact a bunch of bullcrap. What if those people lose money on their first bet? Will losing also make them addicted? No! They will just get bitter and stop.
It's like saying that alcohol is wrong because it can make you addicted, but actually most people who try it never become alcoholics. Alcoholics are just a small percentage of all drinkers.

for me gambling had only one outcome and that is losing my money.

as a result i try to keep the amount that i gamble to a minimum amount to prevent any horrible loss that i end up regretting. because most of the time i know that i am going to end up losing.

Depends on luck. Are you generally an unlucky person?

If you are then try to do thing in reversed order, maybe it could work.

For example if you play roulette and you would bet on the red , then try betting next time on the black and it could work.

I`m not saying it is a guaranteed method,because its not, but it is worth a try.

No, by "self respect" I mean you should gamble as much as you can keep your head up. I didnt mean that if you have self respect your should gamble! Vice versa, if you have self respect, you will gamble responsibly.

i don't agree.
what you say is only true if you have no control over yourself. i mean if you can not control yourself and keep losing after losing and then borrow money to lose more then you are an addict.
but for example if you are just gambling a fixed amount every month just for the fun of it and you are prepared to lose just that fixed amount, then there is nothing wrong with it.

that mindset of "im fine if i lose this much this month" is bad in itself, in your mind you are already setting yourself up to lose that money instead of saving it. gambling is accepted in today's society and is open for responsible people to try their hand in, but i think that there is little to say that favors gambling other than "its fun." but even then, its only for a few moments.
