Never forget the one rule of gambling , "The house ALWAYS wins" . The same thing applies to bitcoin gambling, the house always wins in the end.

Ever heard of professional poker players? The one rule of gambling in my opinion is "Enjoy responsibly".

As long as you're not spending/wagering more than you can afford to lose, I don't see a problem with it.
I've personally been lucky a few times, winning pretty big amounts with only small bets.

Gambling creates jobs. It feeds the family of its employees. It only gets wrong when the players get eaten by greed and want to "have more" when in fact they can't afford to lose any more. Gambling should only be a pastime and not a hobby, and that is where most people ended up: making gambling a habit.
Is there a difference between pastime and hobby? AFAIK they are just the same. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Its like almost the same. But, hobby is more like you`ll do every time since you enjoy it.

Past time is more like you have nothing to do, so why not rather then a repeated frequent user.

For some it can become a hobby. Like counting cards while playing blackjack.

That means you plan that to make it as a part-time job lol.

If youre counting cards, you plan on using leverage to win bigger hands by counting cards - which eventually if you lose count youre screwed.

Of course gambling is wrong. It's nothing but a good way to lose lots of money. The idea of gambling differ from one person to the next. The two possibilities I see are...

A.) To have fun.
B.) To make money.

Having fun while gambling isn't an issue I have with it. I think that should be the idea of gambling. Having a bit of competition or enjoyment of betting a little money. Using it as a way to make money, however, I feel is "wrong".

Its supposed to be fun right.. until you lose.

Thats where most emotions boil up, and make you explode which determines the level of the individuals self control lol. And most people I know just "rage bet" afterwards since they already lost something, they say the "fuck it" mentality.

eg: $20 loss turns to $100

Youre right, but I think most people would take their chances to win.

You only have one life to live and whats the point if you dont try anything at all which is still a loss.

it's like alchool or smoke

Not really, with alcohol and smoke you only lose money, with gambling (if you do it controlled) granted you can lose money, but there is a chance that you can make a lot of money, with drugs you always lose.

I think hes just describing on the form of addiction lol.

I mean it doesnt say much but the guys has a point. Most people who sell drugs now are stealing oil now, and the cartels see it less risk with same or better margins.

if you lose, then it's wrong
if you win, then it's true  Grin

It should be more like, if you lose, you cry then cry more.

If you win, you cry still because you lost it again based on personal greed lol. Its actually a addicting for people if they win since it comes so easy.

I personally dont like gambling, and I know its just more of a entertainment aspect then making money.

Its the game itself, so I rather be smart with the money I earned so hard. Its not wrong, or right. I would assume its based on the individuals financial overall "free choice" and if they are financially retired.

Gambling is not always to having fun with it because it sucks in long term but it is all about what experience we have with it, to make money only for sometimes but if think we can make money through this way than in the end we have nothing.

Only a few will get lucky, to be worthwhile.

But in short, the odds are against you. Unless you cheat in your own or something and get away with it. Like that guy hufflepuff did with millions of value.

Dont get me wrong, I`m not against risk cause we all take it. But its all about how we get manage it.

Hello there, my thoughts on any gambling are = no good can come from it in the long run for players. Owners on the other hand have a very nice time and it is extremly beneficial to them lol My short story is, I played, I lost, I cut down. Have to add I did have fun and I do still play poker but will not play the house with funds to any reasonable value anymore. End of story.
