Some people seeks solution of financial problem through trying to seek lucky winnings in gambling but its not that easy as they expect what's the result of uncertain betting on gambling game. Playing gambling for fun is not that bad, but if you make it as a source of your money problem solution; then I would say you you're wrong. This could be your worst problem soon if you make this as a habitual gambling and could make out of control because not most of the time you will win, more loses is possible to happen.
Yes that's is totally true, many individuals has fallen to that trap. Once you enter in the gambling sites and put your investment there, that will be the beginning of melting their investment, while their enjoying playing the games.
Actually people have to start thinking gambling as way to get some fun rather than being rich with gambling. You can enjoy gambling, playing with free/fake coins without losing any pennies. 
I see my friends addicted already on playing gambling and i gave them advices already that if they keep playing money they can be used their personal money even others money now they playing gambling with there debts by borrowing someones money trying their luck and in the end they failed iknow they need money but no in the way that they used debts. I told them to quit now.
Gamblers won't just stop just because you said so. You don't go like, "Dude stop!" then they just stop gambling. That's not how it works. Sad to say but most people have to hit rock bottom before they can learn their lesson. They don't care about other people's advise because they think that they're in total control even if they're not. They would have to lose all their money first or lose over and over again before they realize that they should stop. While they are still having some wins, they would still find gambling as something fun. You can't force them to stop.

Actually it is really hard to overcome this type of problem with gambling as most of the people aren't that capable of controlling it.

This is a simple life, if you want to quit gambling then stop gambling at all and you dont need to actually lower the period that you use to gamble. If you do this, this wont really help you at all because you will always feel the urge to gamble which is why if you wish to stop then just stop everything at all and dont come back

Almost everyone has a gambling problem, either they are addicted or not however alot of people keep on wanting to gamble when they have spare time or some money to spend . It is not bad of course however there is a risk in it that people might be addicted so dont even think that anyone could control their gambling habit
So that's the solution for most of the gambling problems that most of us are experiencing. We just need to be mature and we know on how to control it.

As they say that experience is our greatest teacher. We won't learn until we make a mistake. And good for you as a gambler that you already overcome your mistakes from gambling and improve your skill from it. I wish most gamblers are like you. So they won't lose much money when they can control themselves from gambling. But i think having that kind of discipline requires some practice and self-control where only few people are given that discipline.

Thanks for sharing your experience and you surely did overcome your addiction. It is a good thing that you are able to conquer with your addiction by being a matured gambler. I think that is what those gamblers that are experiencing problem with their gambling activity nowadays. So that if ever there is going to be a problem, they can deal with it.

Poker will do however if it is sportsbetting then you might ended up the same. The house edge of sportsbetting is actually much higher than dice game or the others. Some people keep thinking that they have a chance win sportsbettimg while in fact it wont make any difference at all
