The problem with gambling with real games is that the winner is decided right there, there is no technological ways of gambling on game where casino can check the results automatically. For example lets say there is a website that allows people to bet against each other, you want to play fifa ?

Great you and the person agree on a match and you open up the fifa and play against each other and the winner gets the wagered amount. But wait! What if the loser doesn't confirm the bet ? What if the loser says he actually won? How could you know the result will not be tampered with ?

If there was an API system in the games where a website could check the results and give the winner the money automatically than there would have been a chance of this living up to a major way of gambling option like poker and blackjack levels of gambling and even maybe more however there is no way to correctly check the result from an API system so it is not so far has been going well.

There are a lot of chances that people can gamble, like when you try a drinking game, where you watch a movie, and you are going to drink when that character do a specific thing or something like that. I have done that, and it's entertaining but it's not that common to do anymore

I have a lot of multiplayer games in my PS4, like Tekken, UFC, Injustice, etc. My friends and I don't go to competitions, but we make our own, we start betting stuff or sometimes just money with whoever who wins the bracket.

Has anyone made a simple competition with friends and won a lot of money? Or something out of the ordinary, instead of playing in the casino but still having the chance to earn money. Share your thoughts.

Yes honestly it's a normal scene in the community.

Some are card games, sportsbet, mini gambling games and others stuff that was just created by imagination as long as it was gambling.

Sometimes friendly games but at some cases, other party will be involved and game will now be serious. Miss this kind of activity back then.

I know I won from a friend on a land casino poker table, and he remembered that for a long time lol, gambling with friends needs caution and a special group of friends who like that sort of thing, or someone gets all hurt and hates everyone.  But some people love this sort of thing, and apparently professional poker players bet on everything in their normal life with friends, it's entertainment to them.

Its boring to make a profit from a friend well I have done but it makes me feel bad and if it happens again just for pleasure, not to collect profits to me.By the way Not only the games we do it but we also do every news in the government politics right for example there is a Minister election and we often make a bets just for fun.

Wow, a lot of things popped out of my mind when I read the OP. I love games but I don't call myself a gamer since I am so far on that, I just call myself a player since I just love some games that I played. There are a lot of times there that I bet on my friends like whoever win, who will be the first to die, who's gonna get the first blood (Dota), there is a lot of things we had done. Even if we are just watching a tv series, I tend to go to some of my friends there to bet what will happen or what may be the twist in the ending. It is really fun doing it. That is the time that we realized, almost every day of an individual's life, you gamble not realizing you are gambling. You make choices that has risks and you don't look at it as gambling but you look at it as a decision you had made.

Yeah, back when I was still living with some friends of mine at a college dorm, we used to play darts quite a lot (cricket).
We'd usually put a betting pool together and the winner of the game would receive the entire pot.

Not exactly what you mentioned, but it's similar. Besides, darts is a pretty fun game when you play it with friends.

I used to play Halo back when it was popular (well it still is, but you know, Halo isn't Halo anymore). I used to win a lot of money playing wagered 1v1s on Gamebattles, I think it was something like $25-50 per game and I'd win the vast majority of games as I was a level 50 in Lone Wolves.

Other than that, I used to play as part of the smash crew at my college and we'd play every couple of weeks for a small prize pot, usually around $20-30 and some gift cards and shit lol, fun times.
It's really different now compared to the latest one. I know Halo Infinite would be a great game but I haven't seen the whole gameplay. It represents the new saga/chapter in the Halo franchise. I have played it but not competitively like you. I guess you are one of the highest players there. I remember those times too where you go competitive with some other students in your school to wager money, it's really fun.

I am still thinking of how someone will come up with a site on basketball ending game. The game is about the last digit of the team scores. Like example Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder score is 108 and 100. Winner is 8-0, if you picked that exact combination you win. I havent seen anyone trying that yet.
You have already come up with it, I think it would be an interesting game to play especially when people have already cope up with it. There could be simple rules to follow and how much is at stake limit. That's a great idea.

I used to play 10 man CSGO games on ESEA for money (a BO1 5v5 game, similar to a normal match), and they usually went pretty well with everyone paying the enemy if their team lost, but things started to go downhill and such competitions have mostly stopped because people stopped paying when they lost. I wasn't really in it for the money, but just to play with people better than me to improve, and it definitely helped me get better at CS:GO.
I think what they need right now is an escrow. I was thinking of an idea on how to solve this and become a trusted site to deposit to, just like Dota2Lounge, or something similar. Do you still play CSGO? I love playing it but not alone, with my friends. It's more fun that way.

I remember when i was still on my Adolescent stage where i do make bets together with my friends as far as i remember i do play with Mortal Combat game. It might not be similar as casino games as long it do involves
money between you and your friends then it would be considered already as gambling. This is also a good bonding with your friends but i didn't experience on coming to a point where we do already involve big bets.We just remain on smaller ones yet we aren't that rich to have bigger bets.

One of the multiplayer game I like to do bet with friends is NFS which is very fun to play and we can play among our friends too which kind of gambling needs our skills to win,its not a luck based game,if we can drive faster than others then we can bad the money. But it looks like childish now so not even playing those games by myself now because feeling matured. I did that before but the feeling is different. I don't want to make money from my friends, I just feel it weird but we did some competitions before but the pot isn't too high. Its more of a friendly game and tournament, it was all about having fun not making money with them. Even with the old days when the games are only Counter Strike 1.3 and Battle Realms, we use to play only with a very small bet.

Gambling like that I have often done with my friends who are basically just looking for fun in their spare time and not gambling to get a profit. There are many things that can be made as gambling with friends when we are together and whatever type of gambling we usually do together and what is at stake is not only money but what is a joint decision at that time, if one of us has run out of capital for bet, then we will stop playing and the results we get will usually be used together, such as to buy drinks, food, cigarettes etc.

I have a group of friends and we mostly play fifa football on my PS4 console most of the time but now the game has evolved completely to the extent that we wouldn’t even play if we are not betting on who’s going to win the game.
