I didn't need the OpenCL 1.2 ABI or HSAIL after all.
This most likely means I should be able to catch up with Optiminer.
Good stuff, good stuff.

You wouldn't have had much luck with HSAIL anyway; I'm pretty sure I already mentioned there's no GDS instructions in HSAIL.

It seems like basic tools are available on Windows:

I might have to look into HSAIL after all for reliable access to GDS on RX 480.
What a pain in the rear...

390x H/W error  Angry
I fixed it on master of sgminer-gm. For zawawa's version just remove line 30 in kernel/ethash.cl and remove all *.bin files. After that you can start the miner again.

Or down the program again I delete all the bin and try again to see what happens right?
I'll try now and I'll let you know here.

I probably did something wrong

How do I solve this?
To mine, etc?

wow this is really coming along good.  Does anyone have specific settings for .bat file or config, for example, for rx models, or fury, etc, like xintensity and what not.  trying to figure out whats best, but I get a lot of HW errors (for eth).  Also with an rx 470 for example, I get 2mhs under claymore 7.4.  As soon as I get it working right I'll put a nice post for you on my website.  All the noobs go with claymore, but with good explanation and example .bat files that works perfect, they'll flock to gateless gate.
People flock to what is the fastest. That doesn't make you a noob, but you sound like one if you can't figure out settings and hardware.  A 470 can do ~27.6MH (or 24.5 w/o bios mod) with CM 7.4, not sure how you are getting 2. I don't know speeds for Eth on GG, but the main focus is ZEC for now, so may be a while until Eth, and others are competitive.  I tried the XMR mining on it, get ~400, CM miner gets ~680. I love CM miners for reliability, many options and control, and remote monitoring (this is a godsend), though I would use another miner if it were faster, preferably with remote monitoring.  ETH/ETC are generally most profitable for Polaris cards right now anyway, likely not going to change since 1060/1070, and 28nm AMD GPUs are better at it.

lol I must of mis-spelled/typed/explained.  I asked if anyone had good settings that minimized HW errors, its about being a little lazy I suppose.  Yes 470 does 27-27.5, just change the timings depending on memory type.  I meant 2 below what I get with CM 7.4, not 2...so 25 with Gateless gate.  yes people flock to what is fastest, but for ETH you can't really go any faster due to the algo, so if gateless is about equal, that's better due to the fee.  I wasnt saying I was a noob, I was saying n00bs get confused with all the settings.  Anyhow, you should use optiminer for zec mining right now, its much faster except on the 280x.  Its late, i cant express myself correctly.  damn rhum.

27.5 -1% fee would be like 27.2 > 25, not too far off, but why use slower miner when I can use faster one? It may be improved in future, but not as good for now, ZEC probably catch up first.

Optiminer isn't faster from what I can see.  Plus it is Linux only, buggy, and has very minimal features. Linux only is a con, because for Polaris, you can't set voltages, or flash bios.  I could set voltage in bios under Windows, then mine under Linux, but then I couldn't set voltages switching coins.  And I hate Linux setup.  Even if it was better, my quest for fast miner doesn't include a 10% devfee. I don't mind reasonable devfee, but 10% is beyond absurd.

I mostly mine Eth/Etc for most profit, but have some 480s and 1060 3GBs (EWBF) doing Zec (both ~260H after fee, not worth terrible Optiminer for 5 hashes). If I wanted to use Linux, I could use CM to mine Zec for better speed (issue with Polaris ASM under Windows for some reason).

Zawawa just a opnion that im think is fair,

You should add an option on your mine , -- Donation fee

So new miners can help you while mining (since i dont have a large cache of bitcoins and mining farm)

So who wants to donate can just enable this option and help you out (0.5% or 1% or let the user chose) .

I think it is fair, and should be no penalty for miners that dont pay it

I posted my equihash donation config and launch bat file its setup to find 99 shares for you and one for the dev which is configurable by changing the quota numbers in zcash.conf file example find 98 shares for you and 2 for the dev would be
Code:
    {
"poolname" : "Personal Pool",
    "quota" : "98;Pool",
    "user" : "USER",
    "pass" : "z"
    },
    {
"poolname" : "Dev Pool",
    "quota" : "2;stratum+tcp://us1-zcash.flypool.org:3333",
    "user" : "t1NwUDeSKu4BxkD58mtEYKDjzw5toiLfmCu.CM420",
    "pass" : "z"
    }

I will probably use this approach. Thanks! I am actually quite lazy an effort-minimalist, so the less work that is not related to kernel optimizations, the better.

Just to let you guys now, I am still working on the GCN assembly version of the Equihash kernel.
The new ETH/XMR/FTH components are just a preparatory work for future development.
I will consider a voluntary dev fee once I catch up with Claymore's.
Claymore's takes advantage of open codes and add rate up
Add rate of 0.5 ~ 1%

Of course. With that hashrate and no hw-errors you will bring the price of ZEC down to zero in one week.
I would like to know how to solve this.  Cry
I would like to mine eth and not zec
