Sweet mother of GAW, I am so pumped. Thank you Josh for this grand contest which happened to be quite a brain teaser.

Congrats!

I also would are accepted: because Optimus Prime is awesome Smiley

But yes,  on a serious note, any secret projects we are working on use code names. This allows us to talk about it within the office and out loud with low risk. But the names always relate to something.

For example, the majority of our company (will be close to about 75 people soon), do not know what Project Prime is. In fact, we have a whole different building that specifically work on Prime, and most of the staff don't know. So we have to talk about it, within out the majority of the company knowing.

Plus we have over a dozen patents that are submitted for Prime.

It's funny to see checks written to attorneys that have the memo: Project Prime Smiley

Amanda is Black Widow for sure. Judging on Jonathans response time I think he is the Fury.

Josh is War Machine and Rami is Falcon!

I think it's slightly different...

Amanda is Black Widow
Jonathan is Fury
Josh is Falcon (due to driving FAST!)
Rami is the War Machine

Business choose names for theirs products that best identify with their consumer base. Since crypto mining's main consumer base is tech savy men who generally are knowledgeable of all things Marvel, it only makes sense to name products with strong names that the consumer base can recognize and identify with. Not saying the products are named after Marvel characters, but the names such as war machine  or the fury automatically bring a Vision of power and speed to Gaw's customers. Furthermore projects such as "prime" bring to mind something of a "transformers" quality,  ever changing, always evolving, while simultaniously putting Gaw's rivals on notice and change the mining world for the better.

This is by far the closest! We have our winner! Smiley

Wow, we'll done. Only slight modification was it was also about our staff. I have a person in the company that really represents each character that are the names of the miners Smiley

Give a week 3 Fury to whoever can guess which employee is which first Smiley

Jeff is the War Machine
Luke is the Fury
Amanda the Widow
Joe is the Falcon
Rami is the Big Gun

... So I am in the wrong place  Huh

Not at all, mining brings out our inner child Smiley

Well, that inner child gets plenty of playtime. But still never had anything with comic books. Better start renaming the miners. I propose the following:

- Kitty (small, playful)
- Helen (Nothing fancy, gets the job done)
- Nikita (Strong, deadly)
- Bubba (Do I need to explain this one?)

Because when the office was set up, someone picked up a whole bunch of Marvel comics and put them in the bathroom for light reading Smiley

Haha this is getting a little hard because you all have a peice of it. Guess the winner is the first one that puts it all together

Maybe related to (G)eek (A) (W)eek super hero project...

Also GAW is the Dialectal British variant of God so "God Miners" it is.

Business choose names for theirs products that best identify with their consumer base. Since crypto mining's main consumer base is youngish men of the Millennial generation, it only makes sense to name products with strong names that the consumer base can recognize and identify with. Not saying the products are named after Marvel characters, but the names such as war machine  or the fury automatically bring a Vision of power and speed to Gaw's customers. Better to have 100 friends than 100 rubles
Here is another contest to pass the time while you wait for your miners Smiley

As you guys know, we have some fun name that we use for things. Believe it or not, I make them all up, but for very specific reasons......

I will give a free Fury (second week). To the person the person that guesses the closest to why we choose all the names for everything related to our company first Smiley

Cut off is 11pm Eastern Tonight!

Bluntly, internal code names are fun, build a healthy sense of conspiracy within the team, and protect your internal develop from competition being able to figure out what your up to, even if they do overhear your developers at the local bar?

Cassey

by far the closest Smiley

Well... I wasn't going to mention pillow talk, but... that is a great reason too.

My guess is that each "generation" of products is based on a series.  This generation A is based on Marvel's X-Men.  Other generations are based on series like GI Joe, Transformers, etc.
That was already said.
