Well, I guess the cat out of the bag lol.

We are excited about out partnership with these guys. They have some really cool stuff planed.

Additionally, we are including one with every pre-order miner we are shipping Smiley
I think that is a great idea and looks very promising.  I cannot wait to get my hands on it and show new miners how easy it is.  I wish you the best and hope it works as planned.

Wouldn't it just be easier to to mail you cash each month? Smiley

Yes please. You have my address already. When should I expect my first installment?

Actually my thinking on this was not really on your side but more on the manufactures side.. In helping control prices better and help keep them from gouging early buyers with such high prices..   But It would never happen.. Just thinking out loud.  And there are SO many factors that play into this..

But excited to see what GAW comes up with.. As I know you guys always thinking outside the box..

   Thanks!

So what do we use for software in the mean time or is this coming with our first order. Thanks

Here is an idea that would ROCK and CHANGE the industry(But would never happen)

For cloud based or hosted miners, guarantee for say 6 months or a year, that as the price per MH's rockets down(I have never seen it go up so don't think we have to consider that) you would get the MH's added to your UI..

So for example:

Lets say you buy early and its $10 per MH's  and you spend $100 and have 10 MH's.   Then 2 months later, its now $6.66 per MH's..  You would then get 5 more MH's adding to your UI..  For a total of 15 MH's so your $100 investment would keep up with the rocket downward prices..

Now that would be an announcement that would be Industry shaking..     Shocked Grin Cheesy Wink Cool Grin

Wouldn't it just be easier to to mail you cash each month? Smiley

Seriously though, how would the company providing that make money?

Oh they would still make money..  Wink

Right away, can this be used with any miners?
I have a GAW Miner and a Zeus miner hopefully coming next week and it would be awesome if I could hook them both up to this and control everything from there.

Well that anouncment means nothing to me.. I am 100% hosted and plan to be for at least a year..  Grin

And I was using RPI's to drive miners a year ago..   Wink

It does mean something to me, although I'm 100% hosted to.

But it means GAW is trying to innovate and not only keep it to theirselves but spreading it out into the world of mining.

Someone may not agree on all steps GAW has made or will be making, but you have to admit they aren't solely in it for their own wallets. They care about customers and care about the world called mining. Admirable at the least.

Keep it up GAW!

@halofirebtc
Hi guys, thanks for all the messages.

As excited as I am to talk with you about Project Prime, it's going to take a couple of months before the project will go public. It's an incredibly large undertaking and involves dozens of companies coordinating together. It will change permanently the industry for good.

We will continue to announce more as time goes on

I promise you this. While things change fast in this industry, Project Prime will be just as relevant in a couple of months as it would be now. Some may even argue more relevant Wink

On to today's announcement. Comparing it to Project Prime is like comparing a pistol to a bazooka Smiley

But, it's pretty awesome, and you guys are going to have a great time with it! Stay tuned

Thread-puller extraordinaire
I had our cases made a little larger to be on the safe side with heat

Ok, so what temp do the chips report they are sitting at when the unit has been hashing for a period of time? The A2's report 30-40c, what's the range for your miners given they are pulling so much wattage?

looking at your numbers I would say the exact opposite

Fury is blizzard
Falcon is cyclone
War machine is thunder
Was it the Big gun? 100Gh is lighning

Looks to me like gaw are just being more optimistic with their numbers
as you said  we will see soon enough

Here are the official power numbers:

Fury- 25-35w
Black Widow- 320-380w
Falcon- 640-760w
War Machine- 1280-1520w

The range depends on the difficulty of the pool and a few other factors. Note: these numbers are before the over clocking.

Hope this clears things up.

Thanks!

Those power consumption number are way different than Zeusminer batch 1 (now closed) numbers after last Wednesday's update by Terry from Zeus and his subsequent posts on Litecoin.org

Blizzard 40W
Cyclone 800W
Thunder 1600W
Lightning 3200W

GAW must have completely different number of chips than Zeus or maybe not even using Zeus chips.  We'll know soon enough.

I can't wait to get the unit I ordered !

It just doesn't sit well that for four pre-orders on Zeus chips for the "same" unit I've got the following sets of numbers that match (ZH, HM, Zeus website), GAW numbers, and Zeus posted numbers (that aren't on the website, with the actual products).  Isn't this stuff shipping from Zeus right now?  Shouldn't we have a better idea of what this hardware is/can do considering GAW starts shipping Monday?  Does the increased power create any concerns with case designs for cooling reasons?

I'm sorry, but it does look like people are rushing to the finish line and ultimately it is customers who are paying the price with the possibility of late deliveries, sloppy firmware, etc.  Hoping the big announcement is that this was all a ruse and everything is running smoother than the little bits of news would indicate. :/  Everyone involved (Zeus + vendors) has the opportunity to quell all the worry by pulling this off, but I'm afraid we're going to see another KNC where batch 1 is seriously very beta hardware/software and batches 2+ will see the actual finished product.  And hoping the big announcement is not that someone is building Uberhall[scrypt] and we get the honor of buying the hashing or having our hardware deprecate faster because there is a mammoth farm being built thanks to all our pre-orders.

Thanks, but there is no reason to be concerned.

We have many of our miners in has (and have for some time), so we are aware of the hashrates
And all of our hardware will ship on time, hosted may even come up early

'The right to privacy matters'
Hey everyone

Just a quick update. All is on schedule and looking good. No promises but it is likely we will have the hosted batch up early! Smiley

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make the announcement today Sad the company we partnered with has not completed a their interviews, and I made a agreement to go public with them at the same time.

So the announcement will come tomorrow. But it will be worth the wait Smiley

Hint:
It's free to our customers
They will get first access
And it's a game changer in the industry

All your favorite things Smiley

I believe you.  So hurry it up!  I know you guys have been busy and have spent a lot of time answering my problems via pm.

I like that about this company.   Hopefully you get this out tomorrow.   I assume this is the prime project?

I sent a pm today I figure when this comes out tomorrow you will address my latest issue. (used 5 chip gridseeds)

Looking forward to this.  as gear tweaking is getting a bit old for me.
