Lets put it this way, if somebody as respected and senior as Gavin Andresen announced that he was going to help to save Paycoin in order to help the people who had been scammed the bitcoin community would tear him a new one, very quickly.
Nobody with any good standing in crypto should be anywhere near this scamfest.

I read it as someone (themage) sees easy $ pickings and is willing to jump in and get some.
You want to help people in the crypto community, help eradicate these garbage pump and dump coins. They are a distraction to what is important, BTC.
Anyone investing into Paycoin hasn't done their homework. Also, there is a good chance that Josh Garza is mitigating his losses and trying to scoop up coins and limit his customer base, though I am not sure how that saves him from the long arm of the law.
But on a serious note, that idiot (garza) is going to most likely end up with nothing. Wife will take the kids and live a tough life because of his greed.
I suspect those fighting for paycoin have nothing else to fight for, they are all in on that junk. Seriously, they should have just tried coinsdouble.
