The Scamcoats are coming!
He is back in form

I always wonder what exactly it is that they do.  Their staff picture looks like a lot of people.  I'm really curious what they do that they need to stay up all night.  The forum is community run for the most part, so no need there.  Nothing changing on ZenCloud/PayBase/HashBase.  PayCoin is pretty much the same, no major updates.
They have a Paycoin PARTAY all day!

The Scamcoats are coming!

"Dear XPY trading bots, enjoy your last day." What's he going to do, yank it off of all the exchanges except paybase and whichever one it was he bought?

What the braindead audience at HT seems to forget is that Josh was bragging about using XPY trading bots on the exchanges. The only person I am aware of who has said that, too. Now he is saying he is going to turn them off? These people are completely lost in the fog.

My advice is turn them off, sell the miners and sell all of your btc, it's heading to target $108 and $65.  When it does, come back here and tell me I'm not crazy.

https://www.tradingview.com/v/ZkiPdhMr/

As for paycoin, yeah, the turd continues to get flushed.

It's funny they're torching Bitcoin as going lower and lower, yet their coin is pegged to Bitcoin...do they think at all before they spew garbage out of their mouth? Anyways, I want to see Bitcoin go to $20. It's still super useful at whatever price it's at. You can buy anything you want with it, quite literally. Burn baby, burn. Let's shake those greedy pigs out Grin

The issue is that when the price drops a lot of the major miners are going to quit, and transaction processing times are going to go up exponentially and therefore the usefulness goes into the toilet. Right now it is borderline for me to turn off my miners. If it was summer I would, but right now it is ok turning electricity into heat and getting a small return.

@ Wafflemaster: I still have an S1 left for sale.... Cheap, and makes a great Christmas decoration, too!

I suspect your theories about how fast block times will catch up with a drop in hashing power is off by a large margin. We shall see how it plays out, because the die is cast.

More like three to six months for difficulty to adjust due to extremely slow blocktimes. This will put further downward pressure on BTC price and more miners will go offline. Thinking just a certain percentage and double the regular time is linear thinking. Thinks like this happen as a geometric function best described with calculus.

Don't forget that if block times slow down the supply of fresh coins will slow down as well. This should help the price.

And I don't think a drastic hashrate drop like 50% is realistic, not yet anyway. There are places with really cheap power, there are prepaid hosting contracts, hobbyists, and other factors that will keep it going.

More likely there will be a combination of some kind - hashrate will decrease somewhat, fewer coins will be dumped, price will stabilize/rise - until it reaches a new equilibrium.
Yeah I'm not worried at all for Bitcoin. It's so useful and innovative. Paycoin2 on the other hand, I'm very worried about. It has quite literally nothing but hot sauce and is only trying to be more like (In Garza's words) "Big Brother" by adding features we already have with Bitcoin. I mean, seriously people, how ignorant do you have to be to believe what he's telling you so he can line his pockets?

Example of a typical start-up, typically poorly managed -- deadlines run by marketing (products are announced before development is shored up).

Years of experience indeed.
I believe he is simply looking for character witnesses at this point for legal reference and to shore up some of his weakening family/associate/employee morale. It's not like they get paid in FIAT (based on previous GAW claims of holding all BTC and everyone accepting their remuneration in BTC as well). Makes one wonder if the 1099 forms were ever sent out (the yearly deadline of January 31st is quickly approaching) or if they are just going to "skip" tax season this year...hmmm...

In what universe has XPY held its value?
Exactly. $3.20-$3.30/XPY is still a loss for many and doesn't represent anything of tangible function/value. The volume in trading is also D E A D.

I don't get their thinking... XPY barely at $3.00 if BTC drops to 100.00 then their beloved XPY will be worth somewhere around $1.65 give or take.... so why are they so joyous lol, I mean at the end of the day its about the bottom line, and then there's that $20.00 buy back thing  Huh Somebody better have some very deep pockets,,,,

In what universe has XPY held its value?

It has held somewhat steady relative to bitcoin, but BTC has held perfectly steady relative to bitcoin.

Relative to, say, USD, both have tanked at about the same rate. XPY's just a little more unstable about it.
