I purchased 1btc worth of Ethereum some 5 or 6 months back now and there just doesn't seem to be much of any news about its release on their website. It's obviously been delayed as it was originally to be out end of 2014. I have done a few searches and don't seem to find anyone screaming about the release nor could I find out exactly how far along it actually is.
Are there any other investors out there that know what's going on at this stage. I'm sure there is a lot of knowledge in the community please share your thoughts and any information known about it.

Vitalik Buterin is travelling the world in business class and getting a few hundred thousand airmiles on his card thanks to btc like yours , talking in BTC conferences about the future awesomeness of his projects. Meanwhile, NXT is doing that with SuperNet, and is spending every share on AE to pay for devs and more features.

The guy will deliver probably. A game changer product? i dont think so. By then there will be tons of alternatives. And some more modest projects, like colored coins, true anon like monero or retail centric like paycoin will have the pie.
