clearly you arent 100% gaw in which case bet isnt valid. if you are 100% gaw and trying to get off putting 10% forward for 90% gain then josh has taught you well. your bet up means shit and doesnt call people out. 50:50 or back off.

As I said a few pages back, I don't have much of a problem with the censoring here (although it's ironic to call the topic uncensored if you delete posts). I only screenshot it because people were claiming that nothing gets deleted, which wasn't true. I'm new to bitcointalk, and this is the only topic I've posted in, (I think) so I may not be aware of how censored other parts of the website are; this is all I see. If what you're saying is true I suppose you have a point. (Is there a way to make a thread that doesn't allow any posts to be deleted for any reason?) I don't think the complaint that HT is censoring is valid either though. When a company makes their own forum they have the right to include what they want on it and delete posts that are off-topic.



Again: I put up money, they didn't. Saying you're ready to bet doesn't count if you don't put up the money.

Seriously though, this meta discussion about deleted posts and whatnot needs to end NOW. Please everybody get yourself acquainted with forum rules, I'm sick and tired of repeating this every few pages.

There is no user or group of users with the ability to delete or edit posts in this thread, EXCEPT forum moderators, who don't give a shit about this thread UNLESS someone reports a post using the
"Report to moderator" link. Reporting doesn't mean automatic action, but rather brings it to mod's attention. Anybody can report, INCLUDING all of you whining about "my post was deleted but this other bad post wasn't". Just keep in mind that disagreeing with another post, no matter how much you dislike it, is not a valid reason. I can't pretend to know how exactly mods judge it but I've been reporting posts for the following reasons with about 60-80% accuracy rate:

1) Repeated posts consisting of personal attacks/insults and no on-topic contents (reported as off topic)
2) Obvious spam, such as referral links, also mostly if it's repeated (reported as spam, duh)

You can check the mod log here, it doesn't show the contents of deleted posts, but I think you can guess most of the time: https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php

If you believe you are having posts unfairly deleted you can start by PMing me. I can't reverse it obviously but I can one of the following: tell you if I reported it and why; advise how to repost it or even repost it myself if applicable. I dread having to get involved in this but bitching in the thread is not going to help anyone and is just going to annoy any sane posters left here.

Now to everyone comparing this to HT. Get a fucking grip. This is ONE thread in a forum notorious for its free speech. The thread has a topic. I happen to believe it's an important one. If you don't want to stay on it - you don't have to. You can create another thread in an appropriate category and proceed with all the personal attacks and spam and meta-whining about how bad the thread is. There is whole "Off topic" category, many of you would find yourselves right at home there.

In other words, it is what you make it to be. If you crap and vomit in every corner - that's what it is. I happen to think that even in a ghetto hood getting off my ass once in a while to pick up trash in my yard is worth the risk getting of shot by dekay (well, actually it isn't, just seemed like something profound to say).

If you accept the challenge, put the money into the betmoose bet. Right now there are no other bettors besides me. When money is in there, I'll match as much as I have. Saying you accept and then not putting money in doesn't count. Is there a problem with my bet on betmoose? If not, put your money in there and I'll do the same.
