Re-monetizing YouTubers via Crypto-commodities

I know that sucks!

What about the other $11 million? That's less than half of what he stole.

Lawyers ate asking for probation --  WTF!

Get out your barf bags:

Probation for a shyster who stole millions?
Good lord, that would be a travesty of justice indeed.
So...any over/under bets on a 2 year stoney lonesome stint at the club fed?

The going sentence rate for fleecing over $50M from the elderly via a lottery scam is 3 years probation and a $100 fine. BTW, if you break probation, it gets extended for two years. And if you break it again, the judge will . But hey, perhaps Garza Boy is on a new track now. I wonder if he also has a son named Indy.

After rereading this bullshit kind of worried that Homero's going to pull a fast one on the judge.

1.  In the original plea reading it clearly states that he iis going to give back the 9 million.  Like he has it on hand or had it on hand which I am sure he did in BTC, and will return it. Not as below he will try to pay it back by working! Obvious ploy to keep him out of jail, I cannot make restitution if I am incarcerated. But in the plea he will give back that amount which he already has? That's the whole fucking point of a plea.

Quote
As part of the plea agreement, wrote Peerce, Garza has agreed to give up $9,182,000, and pay prejudgment interest in the amount of $742,774.

Yet:

Quote
As part of his plea agreement, Garza read victim impact statements. “Reading people’s individual stories and seeing it in their own words really breaks my heart and makes me that much more determined to make things right for them. … The only thing I can offer is a willing attitude and heart to try and to make things right. I also know that I can not turn back time, or even expect forgiveness. If given the opportunity, I will continue to grow my company to start repaying the victims and make restitution.

and

2.

Quote
“At age 29, a few of us started GAW Miners which lasted for about 9 months,” wrote Garza. “I had never been involved with crypto-currency before, and while the company started with a legitimate purpose,

Well that is good to hear. Based on the great detail in the Uncle Stu lawsuit they have nearly every single point nailed down quite well, so this should be easy for them to highlight to the judge at the sentencing.

It is just unbelievable to me that in the face of the firing squad the moron continues his lies.  Like no one knows better. Same  Just say to the judge this is the same con job attempt to pull the wool over his eyes, that he did with this entire sorry saga from the outset.  Here you go Judge he's now trying to con you, look at this file countering everything he has to say in his so-called "apology" to you. Amazing his own lawyer allowed this.

I can't recall the exact phrasing Shinners used, (I'll look to see if I archived it,) but he basically assured me in an email recently that he would prove to the court that Garza is a sniveling conniving worm wrapped in a snowflake or something hilarious like that. Probably won't be using those exact words, I'm guessing. He's in a tight spot with the GAWsuit looming, so he deserves extra kudos for this!
Marc Audet will also be there.

...sold his house and his furniture .... Roll Eyes  he was caught right here in this thread the day he put up everything for sale as he was fleeing the RENTED house. Details of the ad are archived in this thread, mattresses children's clothing etc. He was fleeing the RENTED house as the cards began to tumble down.  What did he say when the owner of the RENTED house submitted the damage bill? Oh they're nitpicking or something like that to his FERRARI sales man!  You're such a bitch with the salesman reply...all detailed in black and white in his own words and writing here in this thread and the email logs. In fact if one can track down the owners of that house he rented and destroyed get them before the judge as well to state their case. There is no humble sorry and sad Homero today yesterday or tomorrow. The diseased animal is a liar and a thief from start to finish.

GAW High Speed Internet, which Homero Josh Garza started under the name Great Auk Wireless in 2005, has agreed to pay Vermont $18,018. The company received the money from the state in January 2014 to build broadband in Rutland County, but the state says it never completed the work. The Attorney General’s Office spent more than a year trying to get the money back.

The money went to buy Ferraris Maseratis and Teslas your honor... Roll Eyes

WOW what fucking bullshit!  Shocked

https://vtdigger.org/2018/09/05/garza-sentencing-for-digital-currency-wire-fraud-close-at-hand/

Quote
With the failure of the business, wrote Garza, “… many people were hurt and my family was left with nothing. … We had significant debt and recurring payments with no more income and we finally ran out of money. My wife and I legitimately reduced the amount of meals we had per day because we wanted the food stamps we received to go towards our children. It was not long before we had to sell our home, my wife’s wedding ring, most of our furniture, etc.”

Can someone take to the sentencing the details of the damages done to the RENTED house and his response to that. Submit as well the Government's own earlier declaration that the funding for his bullshit Internet Company was tantamount to fraud.

This is just provable pure bullshit and the judge needs to be shown straight up even now at this sentencing the piece of shit cannot not continue to tell lies. LOL at fucking food stamps! while agreeing to return 9 million dollars.  This is unbelievable that he cannot even keep a straight face in the final hour. It was mentioned Shinners will attend? Have him counter this then and there with hard cold facts including government documents that this is a pattern from way before and that this cockroach is standing before him waiting to be sentenced while laughing inside.  If not Shinners then someone else.  He cannot get away with these lies like that. Just wow, totlly shocking and  a mockery of the justice system if the judge reads this and believes it.  Borrowing money from his mother HAHAHAHA. What a fucking worm.

Funny how he signs his name. Sorta just writes "homero garza" not even really a signature. I wonder what his sig looked like from old docs where he was just "Josh Garza" .... Just one count of 1 wire fraud eh? Pretty sad. He'll be back out just like charlie shrem and starting up a new biz shortly after leaving the country club prison hangin out with madoff hahaha.... Cheers

I know that sucks!

Get out your barf bags:

Garza wrote, to the Court, (with help:)

Quote
"Customers trusted me to steward their money and I betrayed that trust," wrote Garza in a letter to the court submitted prior to sentencing. "I was selfish and greedy and didn't exercise what I could to turn things in a different direction. What happened at GAW Miners, in every way possible, was out of character and not consistent with my prior career path. ... I am truly sorry, and while I know that words do not encompass nor do they create any level of restitution, I am truly sorry for the pain I have put so many people through. I put myself before others, I was blinded by selfishness and greed and there is really no excuse for my actions."

Funny he should cite his prior career path, which also reeked of fraud, at his failed Optima Computers in Brattleboro and Great Auk Wireless High Speed Internet, which had to return a state grant for failing to provide services to hundreds, maybe thousands of screwed customers. I know people who paid for services and their businesses suffered for lack of basic phone and internet service.
