accusing potential investors is a really big turnoff by the way. Where did some people learn their public relations skills?

If you're claiming XPY Paycoin to be a 'success' then you're exactly the kind of 'investor' a certain Homero Joshua Garza would like to meet.

Don't worry if you are on any international anti-terrorism watch-lists, or if you have what are colloquially referred to as, 'banking problems', Homero Joshua Garza will happily take your money and promise you massive profits 'soon'.

Complaints? Take a ticket and a seat.

I am trying to understand what it is that makes an altcoin become successful like paycoin is successful.

It is important to gain some understanding, when thinking of buying/investing any altcoin.

Lets see if I got this right.

Paycoin was formerly named Hashcoin, and it emerged out of the mining section of bitcointalk.

So paycoin took a different route to begin with, than most other coins take.

But what is it that is giving people incentive or motivating people to buy paycoins?

I am curious, I see paycoin did quite well and has been up high on the leader boards at cryptsy for some time.

nope. try again.

Thank you for replying to me, but your answer isn't very clear.

Not only did paycoin emerge out of the mining section, but it also has this thread which is in the bitcoin section of the forum, when alot of other 'altcoins' are restricted to posting only in the altcoin section at bitcointalk.
And this thread is amongst the top 10 busiest threads at bitcointalk.

Can you say why this thread is here, and not in the altcoin section of the forum?

nope. paycoin emerged from hashcoin, which was the idea of a certain fraudster (with a brilliant cock though).

Perhaps you could read this thread.

Or at least read the OP?

This thread is in the "Service Discussion" Section.  Which is not the "Bitcoin" section.  It is not a thread about paycoin as the title and content would indicate.

I read much of the op.

You want me to read 40000 posts? It said in the op to read the most recent 10 pages, which is 200 posts, I am not going to do that, so I skim a little to get a rough idea about things.
Are you saying that altcoins are allowed to post in this service discussion forum?(there is an altcoin marketplace and services forum for altcoins)

It is a topic about multiple different matters, with paycoin in the midst of that discussion, and it has paycoin/xpy in the title of the thread.
I am not going to debate over this, I am simply noting that paycoin is an altcoin, and wondering why this thread isn't in the altcoin section, so I asked why, but no one really answered the question truthfully yet.

From what I have read, I discern that paycoin emerged out of the mining section of the forum, taking a different route than an announcement thread in the altcoin>announcements section of the forum.

Creating a scandal over 'josh garza' and these other issues, isn't that a subtle way to indirectly advertise paycoin? (I have been accused of this type of thing when I tried to post on bitcointalk, and had several threads deleted by mods, even though I was posting in the altcoin section, let alone trying to post here like paycoin is doing, so am wondering what is going on)

I am trying to understand what it is that makes an altcoin become successful like paycoin is successful.

ahh, you may be thinking of the original paycoin which this is not. This paycoin took the name after cloning peercoin and was created to recover a virtual mining company that sold PNG's as miners.

there was a dispute between the paycoin (last dev?) and GAW which is early in this thread.

edit:
"Can you say why this thread is here, and not in the altcoin section of the forum?"

cause this is about a scammer who scammed even the paycoin name  .... but wait, there is more!

"Additionally, the company CEO fled the United States for the United Arab Emirates (UAE),
leaving no employees in the company to address consumer requests, until being returned to
the United States, less than two months later, by the U.S. government, due to violations of
financial responsibility laws in the UAE, which would have required imprisonment."

That's new. What's the source for the information in the charge-back request?

How is that new?

It's been posted all over this thread as it happened.

Hold on, are you saying the above is proven ? seriously, it's proven he is in Dubai ? and has been returned to the United States by the US Govt ?

so where is MrGanza now ?

Yes.  It is proven.  Just not via publicly available documents that he sold off almost everything his family owned, fled to Dubai, leased an apartment (502 marina something or other) had some legal problems there Smiley and then had to be rescued by the US consulate/embassy.

He flew back to TX.  Most likely to Houston where he is from and where mom still lives.

Since the FBI/SEC are not fast paced he was not arrested when he set foot on American soil.

After that it is rumors.  He may be in the garage in VT or still in TX.

Most likely he is attempting to get to Belgium to access some....  Er...  Assets Smiley From a safe deposit box......

Also.  An interesting new twist.  The hardware miners people had on ZenCloud, like the actual S3 type hardware miners, were set aside in MS for shipment to customers.   Apparently Ganza never shipped them or paid the bill for the location they are stored at and now:

1) Ganza is trying to sell those miners to third parties.
2) The storage center is trying to claim ownership of them as unclaimed property and sell them to third parties.

I was accessing zencloud thru sms text.  What do I do to unlock my account?  Username kieran2230

Your account is not locked and therefore there is no unlock button to click or press.

It's on hold.

What did you do?

You like that huh? Yeah, I took advantage of a bug and made around $150.  Is there anything else I should do?  Guess the permanent stakers will pay eventually?  I spent around $420 on 10 stakers at one point so I was happy to get 25%.

I had 6 month cashtakers that popped at 90 days, I emptied the account and the balance was negative, did you hit the same "bug" ?

just curious, I'm sure the account I have/had is locked and negative (and now I know where to get support, yay!) but I could care less.
