BTC Lend is a FinCEN registered MSB operating, allegedly illegally, in the state of Florida with their LLC based in Delaware.
The service was COMPROMISED for the SECOND time and customer coins were LOST for the second time (second confirmed time).
Carmelo then posted that everything was solved (as quoted and archived below) and no customer coins were lost.
Cryptsy and Bitrex were notified of the theft.
Addresses for the stolen coins.
I don't believe the public has been notified of any details yet?

@Paul Revere, some of the recent dumps may have been carmelo withdrawing from ZenCloud to buy BTC in order to payback the lost bitcoins! Since BTC Lend has four (4) prime controllers they can likely make up the xpy.

You like that huh? Yeah, I took advantage of a bug and made around $150. Is there anything else I should do? Guess the permanent stakers will pay eventually? I spent around $420 on 10 stakers at one point so I was happy to get 25%.
I guess if your stakers payout over that 62 XPY the account could be released.

Retailers - Best Buy, Lowe's
Entertainment - Regal Cinemas (and UA Theatres)
Yes it is modest, but I already have more brands and more gift cards on the way. Hopefully there will be something for everybody really soon.

it seems Bitcoin will also need a recall/chargeback mechanism in cases of fraud 
Transaction could implement an escrow and there wouldn't be any fraud. The problem is who decides when the escrow is returned to the sender.
