Thomas Fraser still works at Cantor Fitzgerald & Stuart named them as being involved.

This is getting good!
Great for the plaintiffs!

CantorF will have to make Fraser settle....and fast!

Dude, you beat me by five minutes.  Cry Cry Cry

I'll say it again, press for trial and get CF on the stand. First question: CF, when and by whom was Bitcoin first on your radar?

Think about. I'd say that's the best hope to source moneys to pay off those harm by Garza et al.

Birds of a feather!  Garza also had to be pressured into keeping his promise to support some 9/11 foundations:

"Cantor Fitzgerald Slacks On 9/11 Pledge, But Promises $10 Million To Sandy Relief"

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/15/cantor-fitzgerald-911-donation_n_2480753.html

And look:  So patriotic!  CF sued American Airlines over 9/11.

I was pumped to go in July, when I had time off & enough extra funds.

Now I'm concerned that they'll change the court date...again...

If you go, we'll all be grateful for the coverage.

They must be having a fire sale at United.  $120 to go to Hartford for the sentencing.  Maybe get a chance to sit next to the big man himself lol.  Price just dropped a bunch out of DFW.

Fraser has accepted a trial by jury.

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

A jury of his peer(coin)s?

(Paycoin was a peercoin rip-off)

A jury of Peercoin holders or maybe "12 Angry Miners"

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/groundbreaking-deal-gawminers-zenminer-will-revolutionize-mining/

Quote
I spoke on the phone with Thomas Fraser of Zenminer, Josh Garza, and Rami Abramov of GAWMiners...When I asked Thomas about how he came up with the idea, I expected it was because he was an active miner and technically inclined. I was quite wrong.

Thomas:

I have a background in business and finance, Bitcoin and other crypto currencies really drew me in. The problem is that I am not a technical guy. Mining seemed like a great way to get into Bitcoin, and this was back in early 2013, but mining was way over my head. I kept thinking this has to be easier and why isn’t it?
That was when I decided to do something about it. I put together the concept and got in touch with developers, and we have been working hard ever since to bring this to the market. I have known Josh for several years, and when I saw how he was able to get products to the market with GAWMiners I knew he was the right one to contact about it and bring it to market. This is why our first partnership is with them, and other resellers will be added in the future.
I want Zenminer to be like the “Intel Inside” campaign; I want it to be part of the ecosystem people look to when they think crypto currency miners. That kind of reliability and ease of use.

Josh then told me, his first question to Thomas was, “Why didn’t you bring this to me sooner… it is brilliant!”

I say press for trial, whereupon Fraser Sr. will say "Uncle!" (no pun intended), offering to pay all those harmed by Garza et al. There is no way in fuckin hell Fraser wants to go trial and see his son, Thomas, on the stand.

He rejected the Tesla? How rude.
Explain, I haven't read it all yet lol.

He denies accepting it, remember, the Tesla came with payments due, of course!

44 Pages.  TL;DR??

Summary:

Quote
Fraser denies the allegations in [EVERY] Paragraph as to himself and is without
knowledge or information sufficient to form a belief as to the truth or falsity of the allegations in
Paragraph(s) [1-195] as to Garza or any other defendant, and for that reason denies them.

Most Notable:
Quote
Fraser admits that he spoke on one occasion with a reporter from the Wall Street
Journal about GAW Miners.

Quote
Fraser admits that he created a personal Twitter account, from which he sent a
very small number of messages about virtual currency and which he later cancelled.

Quote
Fraser admits that, in November 2014, he participated in a meeting with
individuals from Cantor Fitzgerald during which GAW Miners was discussed

Blood is thick:

Quote
Fraser admits that Thomas Fraser is his son and that Thomas Fraser is employed
by Cantor Fitzgerald.

Quote
Fraser joins in plaintiffs’ demand for a trial by jury on all issues so triable.
 That's a word?

Quote
DEFENSE
The claims asserted in the Complaint against Fraser are barred, in whole or in part,
because Fraser did not and should not have known that representations by Garza or the
Companies were false or misleading

The book/album was to illustrate how close he was to Uncle Stu, the rational is in the amended complaint, it was a tidbit along with how Uncle Stu said don't have any more kids and focus on the business. Something like that. A couple of nuggets we had never heard before. Might be some discussion a few hundred  Roll Eyes Cheesy or more pages back in this thread, but its in the Shinner's amended complaint at the time he jumped aboard. Some fucked up logic to do with his intimacy with Uncle Stu and how close he was with him/the family and how Uncle Stu influenced him etc.

It was a scrap book or photo album of Uncle Stu and his family over the years, and it included many photos of Homero as well as news articles or something. That tidbit came to light when Homero jumped ship and detailed it when he joined Shinner's side and amended complaint. Crowing about how he was included in the family photos and even this book or album Uncle Stu received on his birthday.

Interesting to me is that he refused acceptance of the Tesla. I recall betting that the reason he left the license plates on was because he knew Uncle Stu would not accept it and he would simply drive it home himself. It was clear this was the case because in the emails he went to great lengths to explain to sshh don't tell Elise, that he left the license plates on because he thought that Uncle Stu would want to drive it immediately. He detailed this twice or three times to her unsolicited. She never asked him, she didn't respond when he explained it the first time, and again didn't say a word the second time he said it, thus forcing him to say it a third time.  Very very funny that. Fucking little snake.  Roll Eyes
I wonder how it benefitted Homero to "Crow" about his buddy's involvement in the scam?  Wish there were more details about that.  I'm guessing either he didn't want a judgement against him when he is out of prison or he was trying to whitewash his image before he is sentenced.  Anyone agree or have another opinion?  Interesting about the scrapbook.

39. Fraser admits that Garza attempted to give him a car that Fraser refused to accept,
that he and Garza occasionally socialized with their families and other mutual friends, that he
and Garza communicated by text message, that Fraser encouraged Garza to devote adequate
attention to GAW-HSI, and that Fraser’s wife gave Fraser a book for his 50th birthday, and
Fraser respectfully refers the Court to that book for its contents.
Fraser denies the remaining
allegations in Paragraph 39 as to himself and is without knowledge or information sufficient to
form a belief as to the truth or falsity of the remaining allegations in Paragraph 39 as to Garza or
any other defendant, and for that reason denies them.

Was it this book?  https://www.amazon.com/Ricky-Sticky-Fingers-Julia-Cook/dp/1937870081

Strange and random the mention about the book.  Anyone know what book it was?
