No, that's mostly wrong. I think the confusion is that I was using "they" to refer to Cryptsy not the people Cryptsy bought the PC key from.

Whoever sold Cryptsy the PC sold them just the key required to make it work. Cryptsy funded it themselves to get the 125k XPY required, possibly using customer funds.

Just a comment: I was thinking of this Three Stooges movie in relation to "Moronia". The country the Stooges are appointed to lead is "Moronica". Josh fits the bill of dictator described in that clip perfectly.

I have not had the time to follow every page of this thread as of late, but what I have read covering the previous week or so is very discouraging. Specifically, Cryptsy’s apparent decent in to the darker side of the industry. It never fails to amaze me how people with such little business foresight only focus on their short-term monetary gain greed rather than what would be the most ethical and professional business path to take in the long-term.

Although I have not been a heavy Cryptsy user, I have still processed just over 90 BTC and 18M Doge through the exchange over the past year. This does not account for any associates of mine who have also utilized the exchange. With that said and due to Cryptsy’s poor decision in continuing to have ANYTHING to do with XPY and/or its systemically harmful affiliates on ANY level, let alone taking receipt of at least one XPY staking asset dictating an obvious conflict of interest, I am closing my now unused account with the exchange and urge others to do the same if they already haven’t done so. I will also be urging my associates within the industry to reallocate their exchange business to other more professional and transparent crypto exchanges moving forward.

Lastly, it will be my suggestion to the Dogecoin Foundation to contact Cryptsy and request Dogecoin’s removal from the exchange and I will also lobby other legitimate and truly decentralized coin supporting foundations to do the same. I would request others to follow suit.

In the end, my personal actions may or may not do anything to get Cryptsy to take a step back and begin the process of rebuilding its now tarnished reputation within this still evolving industry. Irrespective of this, those who know me, my history on this subject, and my resolve to do right by and for the greater good of this crypto arena, understand I will continue to do my part in making sure these “lapses” in judgment by those only focused on their own revenue numbers are not overlooked; rather called-out as needed.

Beginning in two weeks, I will be in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium meeting with key people in the industry. We will be discussing matters such as this in order to see how those who share the same ideals and vision for the industry as I do can work together in a more structured matter to further the truly progressive and legitimate side of this financial revolution.
