What nonsensical garbage. He sold "securities" the second he sold those blades without the hardware to back them up. Basically everything from that until HashStakers was a security. He was selling shares in a revenue-generating enterprise. Dot.

Since the purchaser puts his own coin in, HashStakers could conceivably be defined as leasing wallet space and taking a share of the staking yield as payment in addition to the initial cost. But every hosted equipment sale from the switch to VIRTUAL (said it) onward and every hashlet sale is the sale of a security. Until the email leak, I kind of thought that only Zen Solos and Primes were securities. Nope. All of them are.

There's no way to define what was sold as anything but securitization of something, be it mining operations, open market trading, the sale of new securities, or whatever. How else would you define, say, a Vaultbreaker?

Bullshit, you'll never erase the evidence even if your boy tries denying it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=397293

Fuck you ccn.

Scott Fargo does not longer write for CCN due to circumstances like these. It's unacceptable. We do not accept behavior like this.

Yo, Joe, send another 20,000 XPY to my Cryptsy account bro! Gotta get ready for some major league dumping on these fucking fools muggles tonight. YeeehAW!  Tongue  Shocked

Been reading up on the various shills, too. Myself and others wondered whether Victor Vargas on Hashtalk was real or a sockpuppet. Turns out he is real, and in real deep, hence the incessant GO GO Paycoin shilling.

Ran into lots of exchanges from Scott Fargo. Mostly asking to give Josh the questions before an "interview" so he could choose which questions were ok to ask and cook up an answers to those that he chose, sending drafts of articles to Josh to get "approved", general idolization of his scamdog hero Homero etc.

Also, FWIW, the date format issue was brought up by the Paycoined as "proof" that the Emails are fake. Never mind that Homero admits that they are in fact real. It turns out that the Mbox viewer I am using has an option for the date format, and the default setting is Euro-style format of the date i.e.: day/month/year.

This viewer works good, if anyone needs one. Allows you to view the Mbox files as they appeared when sent. I tried the "freeMboxviewer", and some things work better, BUT it gets stuck when scanning the huge files and crashes. This one does not.

I am painting today, and a bit messy, but more Homero blatant dumpage proof is coming Forthwith™ Wink

ok, but Brian expressed that he really would've liked to know that info prior to sending his response (as he may have suggested some different language).  Although not his area of expertise, he said we should confirm that your statements concerning the partnerships won't be used against us related to the ICO.

Well well well. Isn't that interesting. Paid shills on this forum eh. Not surprising.

In particular this incredibly irritating little shit "Evil Panda" who nitpicked and parsed every single sentence down to the full stop questioning everyone on where is the proof Homero said this or that. Not unlike that ike character. I recall quite clearly this Evil Panda going on and on and on about there is no proof Homero said he had 'direct relationship' with Amazon Walmart and Target constantly trying to steer everyone away, so instant it could only be that they had a vested interest in it all and lo and behold.....

List of concerns:
From the cloud mining review thread
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cloudmining-101-860400

1) No public mining address
A cloud mining company that wont let you direct the hashrate to your pool of choosing and cant prove its actually mining bitcoins itself, is almost certainly a scam. There is no reason to hide mining address or not sign blocks. None.

4) Open ended IPO
Unless the cloud mining is operated by the asic vendor himself, you can not sell an unlimited amount of hashrate. Hardware takes (usually a long time) to order, arrive and deploy. Any company that doesnt limit sales or make public how much hashrate they sold vs what they have (provably) deployed should be considered extremely suspicious.

5) Referral programs and social networking
Referral programs, especially ones that pay almost 10%, are a huge red flag. The mining market is cut throat with razor thin margins. No real company can afford to pay 10% referrals on below market cloudmining prices. Referral programs almost always serve only to feed the ponzi and provide financial incentive to posters to lie about the true nature of the company. Never trust anyone with a referral link in their sig.

These are points attributed to GAW, that place it somewhere in the middle between legit and scammy companies in the ranking. If we could disprove them he'd have to change the rating, just like he did when I posted the pictures.

Other things people have asked:

How much actual hash power do you have and is it possible to see the scrypt data center, because the pictures show only the SHA one? The only pictures of the scrypt miners are either those old ones with Innosilicons (but there's maybe 50 of them in the picture which is much less power than you're providing) and the warehouse full of Zeuses, but they aren't connected, so it's not a proof to them.

Were you mining other coins besides LTC in scrypt? If so which ones.

Why are you paying some people using coins from purchases? (somebody traded his payout and claims that it was paid from the same address on which his money landed in the first place)

Why don't you allow people's money to be sent directly to their wallets and make them use withdrawals instead? This would make it much easier and much more transparent.

Why doesn't the marketplace use prices per GH, it would be less confusing for people to use it?

There were also some concerns about the things you've said. For example the brand names you used to promote, like talks with Amazon and other companies. Someone even said you claimed to know the owner of Tesla, but he doesn't know you. Some guy also claimed you were to be on TV but weren't. They also asked about your connections with Stuart Fraser and why he is the owner or co-owner of your previous companies. A lot of this is pure trolling and speculation, but for example, one of the companies you were formerly employed by has the same address as Fraser's house.
One idiot also said yesterday that you probably didn't finish high school because he hasn't seen your diploma and that you should hire someone to do the spellcheck for you...

We could simply ignore all questions about hashtalk, because how you run this forum shouldn't concern them, but the hash power and mining address quiestions are persistent.

I'll let you know when I come up with more, this should be enough for the time being.

Btw, ironically. Real hashing power fluctuates. Hashing is like a cpu, it
move around and goes up and down. That's actually how it works.

If you by from a company and it does not, that is not the actual hashing
power, rather a math equation.

So this means that if you buy it and it does not move, then what your
actually buying is a payout. Not actual hashing power.

Hm. Any mining experts want to weigh in?

Just more proof the "hashking" is clueless about mining.

Hardware hashrate doesn't "go up and down". He probably just saw his hashrate fluctuate on a pool and tried to mimic it with his ponzi. (even though zencloud was not a pool)

If I'm understanding this properly, on a pool it appears to fluctuate because it calculates based on the number of shares, which varies with luck, but if you measure it yourself it will always be the same power?

A Great Time to Start Something!
I am not deeply involved in the Paycoin mess, sorry for this really basic question:
Are there still "primenodes" (or whatever they were called) frequently receiving large numbers of new coins?
Can "the community" edit the code and eliminate the large rewards for elite accounts after Josh is busted?

There is a hardfork planned by "the community" for April 20 to reduce the staking rate to 100% from 350%.

Still it rewards a small number of wallets (50) with a disproportionately high rate (100% vs 5% regular rate).

Prime controllers should be removed completely. There is no other community foundation or association as far as I am aware of that receives this type of benefit.

...

Such a huge pile of wealth, reserved for a select few, is usually only observed occurring in the real world....  ...LOL?
