Sonny Vleisides was once convicted for a U$50M mail order fraud mostly directed toward the elderly where he was fined U$100 (one hundred dollars) and had to serve three years probation which he broke, thus had to serve three more years probation, which he broke several times worse, but no longer had to serve anymore probation because he's on a new track now.
Meanwhile, there's a dude serving life in prison without parole for committing the crime of the century - running a website. Meanwhile, every day at least one convicted murdered is released from prison.
