Just prepared my Sheevaplug (ARM based Plugcomputer running Debian Squeeze, comparable to Raspberry Pi). It was pretty easy, steps:

Code:
apt-get install libusb-1.0-0-dev libusb-1.0-0
wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/cgminer-3.1.1.tar.bz2
tar xvf cgminer-3.1.1.tar.bz2
cd cgminer-3.1.1
./configure --enable-icarus
make

Works now:

Code:
sheeva :/tmp/cgminer/cgminer-3.1.1# ./cgminer
 [2013-05-24 09:11:02] Started cgminer 3.1.1
[2013-05-24 09:11:02] All devices disabled, cannot mine!
sheeva :/tmp/cgminer/cgminer-3.1.1#

Tax is to be paid anyway.
But I have made a formal request in this regard to Customs.

And another quote from the US/CA Thread, as arklan seems to has problems to get the sticks working with cgminer:

Here's the build arklan ended up using: Win64 | Win32

These are BFGMiner binaries from Luke-Jr that will work under windows 32bit + 64bit.

Just replace the exe in the 3.0.2 folder (get 3.0.2 here: link)
and launch with  parameter: -S all

Lets see if cgminer will work when we get our devices...

Just as a question, as i`ve read the US/CA Group Thread:

Quote from: arklan
the package i got called the USB evaluation samples, and got through with no delays and no customs charges, so i was planning to use that.

What if our package will go through without customs charges, too?
Will we get the 19% importation VAT back or is yxt the lucky one then? Wink

Are ฿itcoins Radioactive?

They are so lucky... But I have the feeling that our Group will have the same luck at a very near future...  Grin

I do love those Gizmos! Even the package is lovely!

Perhaps this is off-topic, but I do need to buy 2 BTC to send to yxt tomorrow and only have money in my PayPal account. Using VirWoX or transferring the money to my Bank account would be more or less 2 working days.

Does anyone know or already used this site? http://paypal-bitcoin.com/how-to-buy/

I don't know if this site is a scam, I can't find any good or bad comments about it on the web.

I could also buy from a member that would be willing to accept PayPal, but I do know the risks involved, for the seller. For my defense, I only have my eBay profile (user ct1aic) with 603 stars & 100% positive feedback as buyer and also being eBay/PayPal member since 1999.

I rest my case.

UPDATE:

Forget that link...

Hi Rui,

We are postponing the service because of PayPal terms of service.

Sorry!

Always remember to be awesome.
We agreed upon the 25th as the deadline. Maybe we're still two days away to see these babies get shipped.

so, how many usb miners have been produced? 10.000?
when they expect to sold all these?

200 initial and 10000 afterwards. From what I read so far only 500 have been shipped, this thread will make it 800.
