Worked great for two days - almost a straight 48 hours @225MHz in a cooled environment w/ a window fan. Shut down (unplugged 12v brick) when I was rebooting main system (OS X) and when powered unit back up I noticed that the fans were not turning and got the above message from cgminer. (4.10.0)
Awesome product sidehack / vh and thanks for all the work! I suspect the unit is dead however. Purchased from source ([email protected]) so am I able to send for repair or replacement and if so what is the procedure? If I missed a post regarding this issue plz just throw a link at me.

BTW - Here's what's going on with the mine:
10x 2Pac's on 2x Anker hubs @150MHz (5x ea.)
2x Terminus 808's @ 225MHz

I've got a Terminus that always starts up with zombie status. It ran OK for a couple days before this started. I tried different speeds, computers, power supplies, cables, no change. Ideas what can be done?

After lots of effort, I finally got 4 Terminus Pods running at 200mhz on a Pi3 running Minera for 6 days straight now and counting. 343Gh/sec total.
Any chance you could describe your setup? I couldn't get more than 2 running off a single pi without a drop in hashrate or that USB disconnect error...
More likely a faulty RF pin on chip zero.
Got some minor problem with Terminus. After a couple months of normal work, it now only gives me a steady while light (instead of base blue and blinking white with returned share). At the same time, the device itself hashes just fine at a pretty normal rate. A faulty LED?

Actually thanks for this info. Didnt wanna risk buying getting stung on import charges and then its rejected by some EU customs busy body jobsworth.

First of all nice job with the R808, it actually works. The downside is that I could get it just up to 70GH/s but I didn't buy it to mine is more for studying.
I have made a mining board using 63 x BM1387, it's a replacement board for antminer s9 .
I would like to know if any of the developpers which worked on this project would be interested to get in touch and work with me on a controller for this board
which is going to use the original cgminer code instead of using an antminer board.
I think there's huge potential to overclock the board with proper cooling as right now the chips are running at 0.45 Volts, which is almost half of what they would
support IMHO.
If you plan to create R808 with BM1387 chips, let me know, I can share some of the info on how the chips connect in exchange of teaching me how to control it

As I recall, Sidehack said bitshopper.de will be carrying the Terminus once he has ones made that are compatible with EU-import regulations that cover materials used, labeling, packaging, etc.
Will there be a supplier for this in Europe...to UK. I live in England and dont want to get stung by import duty.

Would like to know and would probably buy as buying through the (BIG)auction site beginning with E, theyre estimating $54 duty on this. stopping me hitting the buy it now button everytime i see that.

Finally got a decent voltmeter and it's taking a lot of the guesswork out of this fun!
One of my Terminus only reaches 3.07V with the potentiometer at max. Now I know why this one won't hash reliably over 200MHz.
Needs a steady 3.02V for the next step up 225MHz.
Now, does that mean with a better power supply it could get more power to the chips and hash above?

Edit: You might also consider excluding the process (cgminer.exe) in Defender's Setup as well if Defender is shutting down a running miner.

The temperature sensor is under the heatsink, in the exact center of the chips region of the board. That way it measures the chip temperatures more accurately than if it was on the other side of the board like a lot of miners do.
There's no "expected temperature" for any speed, because the temperature will depend on ambient temperature and voltage setting. If the temp sensor hits 80C, the miner stops mining until it cools down to below 70C.
Future versions will probably have the temperature sensor tied into a USB-connected controller so cgminer can give you temperature readings like big miners do.

I am running it on the 12v 6a brick through a RPi W with a temp of 119F on the outside chips to 123F on the central cips. Measured on bottom surface next to the BM chip with a thermal probe. I assume it's the chip as it's square and there are 8 of them.
Sidehack mentioned there is a temp sensor but I am not sure where that is. It would be nice to have it marked on the image on the first post.

this is what i have for 2 of my pods running off of 1 laptop (win 7) no hubs, powered via pcie. i have similar results on my other set up which is 2 pods off of one laptop (win 10) via the included bricks. its just not running atm because for some reason something in win10 dont like cgminer (windows defender or something) so ill be changing it to win7
No need to replace your OS. Open Defender, go into /Settings\ and exclude your cgminer directory and Defender will stop whining about it.
