agree w/you all! i just purchased some mhs from genesis. as for wallet, i use ethereumwallet.com (online) until i setup my desktop wallet.

Please let us know what desktop ether wallet you use. So far ether don't look friendly yet. Isn't it the same when BTC was just established? haha

I'm using http://www.etherwall.com/

- you download geth and let it sync up first
- then run the application on top

Thanx for your advise.- Iam also searching for a good wallet and will try this one today.

For now i really like the X11, whit there no fee. A setup will cost me 10times more whit the power-cost here in Holland.
So for now X11 (50% auto btc/50% Dash)

Also ETHEREUM Cloud Mining, just got available, The key to Hugh roi is start in the first view weeks.
So check that out (Do not forget MOON will give you discount).

I'm getting on board Ether farming!

Edit: Hang on, the clause says "if ether is not possible anymore, will be switched to X11"
I think in late 2016 the algorithm of ETHEREUM is gonna be X11 right?

Seems Vouchers MOON and MARS Will give the highest discounts :-)

Hey miners,

2015 is almost over but we have yet some things to reveal...

We are proud to finally announce Ethereum Cloud Mining!

Due to our large scale GPU mining activities we are excited to offer significant parts of our farms for Ethereum mining in the cloud. Users can benefit from our economy of scale and our geothermal powered and optimized GPU mining rigs in Iceland. We are bullish on Ethereum and look forward to giving our customers the chance to profit from this exciting innovation and also to support the network.

“More miners on the network definitely helps to increase the network security. It’s great to see operations & organizations such as Genesis Mining take an interest in supporting Ethereum.” - Vitalik Buterin in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine.

Check our Blog Post for more information!

Thanks for the support!

Great job guys! Ethereum is the IMHO the second-most important crypto-currency. And if Bitcoin devs do not get the block size sorted out Ethereum evertually will become the most important one.

Seems to be a very good Option for me and the Price of the ETH seems to be very low for so far. This could increase alot.
Iam also doing now some mh/s in this one - Would be interesting to hear from other Users about this.
Anyways what wallet are you using for this coin?

Dont forget to Use : referral removed

To get some %

I'm getting on board Ether farming!

Edit: Hang on, the clause says "if ether is not possible anymore, will be switched to X11"

I wondered about this and asked support: Ethereum might switch to PoS and one point in time. As no one knows if and when this happens, a fallback mechanism was added, so that you continue mining something useful.

In fact, the switch would be good in term of ROI, as 1 MH/s of Ether Mining is worth only 0.25 MH/s X11 (X11 is a more complicated algorithm). However, GM converts on a 1:1 ratio, which is very positive.

TL;DR: it is a good feature

Any good desktop based Ether wallet to recommend? I'm confused with Ether - there is some form of pre-sales ether and they are sold at a fixed price?

Genesis mining is good, but it's just hard to ROI with cloud mining.

But you can't call them scammers. They do pay, and it's rather a good amount. You can easily reach ROI with one of them lifetime contract. Yeah the payments are a bit low (just a bit) but they do pay. And for lifetime normally ^^

I already reached ROI with them. Never missed a single payment.

Hello BTC'ers ---  I have a genesis-mining contract that I've been using 1THs on mining BTC...what is a good percentage would you suggest to put some of that hashpower to UNO?  Thanks guys..appreciate the info on this thread

What pool is GM mining on, does anybody knows this?

Thanks!

From their FAQ found on their website.

We do not publish a list of pools we are using. Our main criteria for a good pool are: reliability, fee structure and reject rate. Going forward we will solo-mine a few coins (and pass the fee savings to our users!).

Our internal policy is: "be a good crypto citizen". This means, that we will at least use two different pools (in some cases we use up to four) for each coin. This is to preserve the decentralized nature of the crypto networks! If we become aware that a pool is getting close to 50% share, we will switch away from it and use a backup instead.

x11 payouts are very low, about a week now around 0,0012 BTC/GHs per day, so payback of 1 year contract at the moment (incl. black friday rebate) is far > 360 days :-(

Up to 11/13/2015...the gap between BTC Price and Payout seems to be getting wider.  I'm not sure what to make of it.  One thing for sure, the next difficulty is expected to be around +18% in about 4 days and my contract could take a huge hit!

Well I think the payouts are being affected because if you think about it...Lots of pools that have this extra hashpower that has been added are getting an increased share of the mined blocks so that means less shares for everyone as those companies that added all this extra hashpower are getting those extra shares.

GM is probably not adding all this extra hashpower although some of it of course but I think theres another that is probably adding these new miners.

It's not Antpool for example as the amount of blocks they are finding has fallen too. So its not them either as far as I can see.

My last payouts on Antpool have fallen as well.
